Nicko just been on talksport saying he doesn't believe the boyd/Geovanni story.

He reckons it has been put out there to give owners a bad name. He still thinks they are going to spalsh the cash.

I don't know what to believe anymore.

You can believe that if they are set to splash the cash, before a new manager is in place, we will NOT get a world class manager. We will get a yes man. In other words, a poor one, because Kentaro will be in charge of transfers.

I'm glad people have jumped on the Geovanni/Boyd story without even the shred of evidence - and now Nicko has denied it. There's a lot of scaremongering going on here, and what's worse is that some of it's coming from our own fans.

We got it from the LT and just about every other paper to be fair.

LT Article.

I'm still touched by Desai's comment about not going against the fans.

You speak about trust repeatedly Mrs Desai, but trust is not given its earned through ones actions. Your words and your actions do not match up, you promised to back Sam & JW and yet you've clearly said it was your plan all along to can him. Kentaro are just advisors and yet slowly its becoming clearer they are far more involved than you've lead us to believe. How can a trust be formed between you and us when the basis so far is so unclear.

Its not a good start and should JW walk as well it will speak volumes. JW walking out on a club he obviously has so much love for will quite simply tell all of us that he under no circumstances has faith or belief in your actions/choices. We trust JW, whether right or wrong he's always made the choice that he felt benefited the club and consequently us. I hold great fear in his rumoured departure and your comments so far, I most certainly do not trust your words and consequently I question your motives for our club.

In my opinion like a impressionable child you are being lead up the garden path. The whisperings of sweet nothings in your ear and the entrancing bright lights of the celebrity world have you acting like a moth near a flame. You have been taken in and seduced by the sirens song and we all know how that will end.

Do you believe everything you read?

Nope, do you believe everything said by a journo on a radio show? ;)

You will never know the truth. Only way is to judge the strength of the January transfer window. One that we now go into without a manager and most likely without a chairman. Planning for the future normally involves having stability within the club, we have non now. Sam has build some good foundations to build a steady club on but Venky's demolition have come in and knocked them down.

I think Nicko is right on this one. There's no source mentioned in the LT article about Boyd/Geovanni, and logically it just doesn't ring true.

Maji,

Thats it in a nutshell, a great post, factual and honest in its assessment and I hope that Mrs Desai and her crew read this, digest it and then respond honestly to the supporters and board of Blackburn Rovers Football Club!!

Of course she wont, but I dont trust Venkys now.

I wasnt sure at the beginning and was prepared to offer them an opportunity to show common sense, business acumen and some hard cash for transfers to take our club forward, the timing and the statement that Steve Keane is to be around for a few weeks, suggests that this will not be the case and we are really in deep water here.

I desperately hope I am wrong but I see relegation as an almost certainty now as there is unrest in the dressing room, in the stands and within the board of Directors, those things = disaster.

It is not about getting into a panic or unnecessary worry, but there are some genuine reasons (stated below) for major concern IMO – speaking to other football fans (included non Rovers) they are (as well) worried for us and actually feeling sorry for what has gone on.

• From Ms Desai comments today, aiming for top 4 or 5, are they having a laugh?

• Going into our busiest period of the season without a manager – even if someone did come in, it is perhaps not an ideal time to get acquainted with the team etc

• Lack of understanding the stability on/off the pitch is crucial for the success of any football club

• The role of Kentaro/SEM – the signs don’t look positive – also if those players (Boyd/ Geovanni) have actually been recommended, is that some sort of evil wind-up?

• Obviously not confirmed, however if JW and Tom Finn leave at this stage, it will be a very sad and untimely end to their time at the club

There are other things too which I don’t have the time to also list – however unlike others I am not “strapping myself in for the ride”, or thinking interesting times ahead – our football club is quickly becoming a laughing stock and the lack of stability, plus poor decision making, is likely to spell some tough times ahead.

The second I saw the pictures of their launch with all the Kentaro celeb's out in full force, I was convinced all I had heard was true.

I cannot believe that whilst all the discussions where going on over our sale that JW was not involved. If JW does leave and it's over Kentaro, it quite clearly means that what Venky's have said prior to buying us cannot be taken as truth. JW would most certainly have voiced fears over this type of involvement and not for one second do I think the trust would have sold on these terms. So what else have they lied about?

I am now sat here waiting for the next kick in the teeth in absolute amazement as I thought once a chicken had lost its head it died.

So let me get this straight, 2 days ago we were told not under-estimate how much these guys were gonna spend and we were looking at the like of N'Zogbia, Adam and Keane. Now they have sacked Sam, put one of their Kentaro men in Charge and won't get another manager until after the transfer window? So much for looking forward to a decent window then!!!!!! ANGRY!!!!

What will they do with the next guy, sack him in May so Kean can give the OK again over teh summer to all of Kentaros no-named 18 year olds like it seems they are doing now?

During the takeover we were told everyday by various board members, many who claimed to be 'in the know' of certain conditions that the Trust were obliged to meet when selecting new owners. It was taken as read that there was some basic stipulations in the place that guaranteed Blackburn Rovers good management and was even given as the reason by some as the failure of the Ashan Ali Syed bid.

I was skeptical at the time as I didn't see how you could bind people into things once ownership had changed hands but I'm convinced there were no stipulations, rules or legality on the Trust when the sold us. So far we know that there was nothing in the terms of sale that prevented future owners from....

* Changing the name of Ewood Park completely

* Having outside involvement from a sports management agency

* Sacking the manager immediately

* Changing John Williams and Tom Finn's job roles (i.e they should have lost no power)

So what what were these conditions everyone kept banging on about? I know it's very early days and this may be knee-jerk but at the moment I feel the board have sold us up the river. Right now, I would honestly rather have Syed and risk him being skint that the mess we have now with owners we know are skint. Andy Cryer is preying they've come into some money but unless they've won the Indian lottery the shares in Chicken related products haven't got up that much as far as I know.

But again, to those in know...isn't it time to admit the Trust were under no obligation to find us decent owners?
