Reading Nelly's comments in the Mail, it seems that communication between the Rao's, JW, Kean and finally the players is the obvious first step in turning this around. Criticism coming from the former club captain, and a model professional... it doesn't help the Rao's case.

I've a nasty feeling that time will reveal that the only winner in all this shambolic affair will be Sam Allardyce. He'll get another top job in double quick time whilst the Rovers could easily lose their Prem status and Venkeys see their investment disappear faster than a snowflake in Calcutta.

As it is Allardyce has a villa in Spain which he's named Casa St James because he bought it with the money he gor from Newcastle when they sacked him. I wonder how a matching one in Dubai might get christened 'The Chicken Shack'?

Martin Samuel in the Daily Mail urges the porn boys to ditch grant and hire Sam.

Then offers this:

Chickens could be coming home to roost at Blackburn faster than anyone imagined.

Failing to beat Premier League patsies West Ham on Saturday means the club lie six points clear of Wigan, who have a game in hand at home to Aston Villa. And Phil Jones may be out for the season with a knee injury.

Still, no doubt the friends of Jerome Anderson will have all the answers come January and it will be Champions League, ahoy. Champions-something, anyway.

One problem with onloading on Philip is that Ryan Nelson, club captain, has voiced similar concerns. Publically, loudly and in no uncertain terms. Things are getting out of hand.

Venkys needs to take some positive action to reassure fans and the team.

The LT are carrying the Nelsen interview saying that Venky's need a back-up plan.

Says players are bewildered.

Atmosphered is weird.

Precious point against West Ham.

Nelsen is of course the most senior Rovers player and I have never heard an interview like this before him.

Similar Nelsen interview in the Sun who describe Rovers as being in a relegation battle.

LT story calls on the Raos to explain what is going on to the players.

"Toeing the line" as Mrs Desai puts it for JW and TF apparently means they are not to have any managerial input on the football side of things at Blackburn Rovers Football Club.

If there are problems developing at Ewood then WTF IS John Williams and Tom Finn doing, surely they should be sorting things out rather than just standing by.

Their hands are tied. No-one, with any brains, on the salaries that JW and TF are on would jump. You wait until you are pushed, or offered a deal, and go for a compensation deal. At the end of the day it is their own personal financial cirvumstances that will come above their employer BRFC.

They will look after themselves and who can blame them. I have represented many, many people in this situation.

Sky

"Mrs Desai extremely naive. Blackburn Rovers fans should be very worried."

"worst nightmare- an agent running a football club."

"probably being lead by the nose by these people- Kentaro and SEM."

"very distorted view of English football"

"De facto third party ownership is alive and well. The situation is actually worse than I expected. The conflict of interest is blatant."

The Allardyce decision is troubling in that he'd done an excellent job at Blackburn on limited funds, just as he had at Bolton, and actually his sacking is more likely to get Blackburn relegated than stabilise them.

A few comments on Nelsen's (and it appears the squad's) opinion of Allardyce and the Venkeys crew from Gav, waggy, Abbey, various exiles and assorted "anti's" might be welcome but only from a vengeful "I told you so" stance.

Their contributions can only be described as always as ill informed, misguided and mischievous. It's too late now to advise 'be careful what you wish for'. I fear we are in a tailspin to oblivion. Worse still it's clear the players do to.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year I don't think. :angry2:

Phillip - is the sky falling in Malta?

Things are troubling at ewood, but we will get through it.

Your posts are only winding people up...

Don't shoot the messenger Grez. Philip hasn't formulated an opinion he's just relayed what is appearing in the press and media.

The fact that a win or two will see him prostrating himself on the floor in ingratiating supplication of the Koumars should not be taken into account in this instance.

EVERY journalist, commentator, manager and our own Ryan Nelsen who are asked for an opinion are saying the same thing. I really don't beleive that they are all wrong. I think Nelsen's comments, which are reported widely in both national and local Press today, clearly show a club in crisis. When our club captain says that Sam won't be affected by the criticism of Mrs Desai because he would only have been hurt by criticism from people who know something about the game it tells you all you need to know about how the players are feeling.

Having sacked the manager the new owners need to spell out their plans for taking the club forward. Even if they aren't prepared to communicate to the supporters, they should at least talk to the players.

This started when syed did not get progressed and Phillip found out about Anderson.

The fact is - we have new owners. There are teething troubles, but what is to be gained by slating them?

The only way forward is to appoint a new manager asap. A strong leader of men, a man who will pull the squad together and unite them, one they will all respect and play for, a man who can work wonders at a small club of limited resources! Oh wait, they've just sacked him!

I am glad you have posted that- a track back through my posts will show that I have tried to be balanced and objective throughout.

My balanced and objective view has always been that Jerome Anderson involvement would destroy Blackburn Rovers FC. Thus far my prediction is coming all too horribly true.

Quick question who would settle finishing 4th from bottom?

Right now, I'd accept it and be relieved.

Get a win or two in the very near future, and I'll prostrate myself before the genius of Venkys, Kentaro, Kean or the boot boy. I think we should be well past the point of pride (which apparently got us in this mess) and be grateful for whatever scraps of hope are thrown us.
