A good article, especially the 'If you axe a boss make sure you..' section down the right hand side.

Even harder hitting from Des Kelly

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-1339711/Des-Kelly-Why-listen-chicken-nuggets-axe-falls-unlucky-Allardyce-Blackburn.html

There are many things I could quote but this is the most pertinent

"Blackburn fans have been noticeably muted in their response,"

He obviously is not aware of the level of censorship that the club is practising.

Philip, you started off balanced and objective. But I'm struggling to find a single objective post off you in the last week.

I hope you can get back to your usual level of posting soon. The current posts are doing both yourself and this messageboard absolutely no justice at all.

I'm going to remove some of the posts regarding Jerome Anderson from this morning as I think you have got us in a tricky situation. You may wish to read Glenn's post about libel action again.

If Philip included in his sig 'the views expressed in my posts are mine and mine alone etc' would that not suffice to keep you clear of being ground under the Pune jackboot?

When Nelly says they have been kept in the dark, there is a serious problem. It may be cultural that they don't expect to have to tell everyone what they want to do but this is not a regular business and we are not in India. Some real communication from the Venkys about what they actually want to do and how they intend to do it would not go amiss. Keeping the fans on side would help the situation no end but they've lost them already. I think, apart from a random couple of people, virtually every fan is distinctly worried about the situation in the club. Protesting probably won't achieve much but it will highlight our concerns to the rest of the world. I think it needs to happen.

you would think that JW might of saw some of this coming, or asked for a private word.

I find it hard to believe that this 5 million budget and expecting 5th place was not discussed before it was shouted to the world press.

JW is a smart man, what does he think of these comments and can he really speak up.

or are they willing to inject more money then we know about.

I'm sure Jerome has more enemies than friends.

The above statement is an opinion and can in no way be taken as a statement of fact.

Unless of course you know the man.

I'm not saying anything about Anderson. My understanding of libel law is that that the person suing does not need to prove he is telling the truth, just that his goood name is being questioned or somethnig similar, the person being sued does need proof.

JW is metaphorically a dead man walking imo. Unless Preston Blue is wrong John will be ccounting down the days to his retirement and pay off.

Really? So Jim mk 2 should be facing the gallows then for his questioning of David Cameron and Nick Cleggs good names then?

Anyone think that the trustees might have told Venky's that we're not too far short of being a top 5 club? After all, they wouldn't know any different would they!

I doubt it. Their family advisers would tell them better.

People are discrediting our owners to be some sort of lambs or something, because it makes it easier to label Kentaro/JA with some sort of hypnotic powers of deception. My point is whatever is happening here is at the doorsteps of Pune.

Good old Ryan, or poor him and poor us

gets more and more worrying everyday.

Glad he was very kind about Sam and a great job he did with no money.

Most worrying aspect of it all for me. Shows that the players know as much as us.

Just what the hell is going on. It's like an episode of Lost.

well Lost ended up being a complete load of rubbish, hopefully this script ends well

I find it hilarious that Philip puts all sort of crap on here but the moment anyone attacks him he PM's them claiming he will sue them for being untruthful and im speaking from experience!!

I am glad you have posted that- a track back through my posts will show that I have tried to be balanced and objective throughout.

My balanced and objective view has always been that Jerome Anderson involvement would destroy Blackburn Rovers FC. Thus far my prediction is coming all too horribly true.

Philip--for your own good-----if you think you have been balanced and objective, you need to see someone.

The worst part is that were not going to get any decent performances in the coming games if the players are so unsettled. Venkys may mean well and actually take the club to a new level in the long term, but currently their PR is truly shocking

Well I for one amd sick to the back teeth of this entire pantomime. Everything that is wrong with Premiership football has played out as though we are fast-forwarding through a new Panorama episode.

The Trust, having decided that their role no longer involved us, had one remaining duty: to sell the club to someone who would continue Jack's legacy. It now appears they sold to the first people to come up with the cash to add to their already obscenely large tax-free pile.

The new owners paid for control, so they can do what they like. They didn't want Sam to spend their money - fair enough, I wouldn't have given him 15 million of my own money either, and I don't believe anyone else on this board would have, and the Trust certainly didn't either. Easy to say 'spend' when it's not your money. But, like everyone else, I was stunned there was not a new manager lined up.

Williams has come out with one measly paragraph that said nothing. Your bosses are messing things up so you need to step up. You're still Chairman ffs: lead from the front and if it costs you your job then so be it.

Kean talks a good game but I'm sensing the whiff of personal ambition a bit too strongly at this stage of the game.

And then Nelsen comes out boo-hoo-ing about life in the trenches. A man who gets paid 2 million a year by the club to play for the club and whose last interview I heard was laughing about getting paid so much to run around and kick people. Now he's upset that his boss's, boss's, boss's boss (assuming that Finn and Williams actually do something for their large salaries) hasn't flown 5,000 miles to hold his hand. Guess what Ryan, I'm upset you haven't flown 3,000 miles to tell me why you dozed off in the 89th minute at Bolton. Just do your job.

No doubt there will be more shenanigans and incompetence to come but I've lost the will to emote about it. No doubt the club will survive all this but is this really better than watching plenty of rollicking games in a wide open Championship? Those chaps at United FC seem to have the right idea having seen a couple of their cup ties on tv here; their fans seem to have a marvelous time.

Wake me up when it's over.
