King Kenny's Magic Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Chris Samba has been one of our best players in recent times. However he has used the negativity at the club for his own gain. To go to the tabloids before the club was the last thing we needed from any player never mind the team captain. I'd get rid of the rotter as soon as possible, and buy someone who wants to be a part of a new dawn at BRFC.

Clitherover Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Hope he is at least stripped of his captaincy after his crybaby antics.
McClarky Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Rubbish. He's shown nothing but total commitment since he has been here. Stories like this are going to circulate with the club in this state and I don't blame him if he did want out to be honest. If he has wanted to leave for ages then fair play to him for the effort he has put in, a lesson to many players nowadays,

Also blaming Sam's sacking as the reason for leaving, when he's been after getting out for a year just shows what the players is really made of.
duffbear Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Good news check this out it appears Kean has convinced Samba his future lies at Blackburn if that is true he has one of his biggest battles already http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/drivetime/blog/2010-12-24/kean-if-beckham-was-available-wed-be-interested
USABlue Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Good news check this out it appears Kean has convinced Samba his future lies at Blackburn if that is true he has one of his biggest battles already http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/drivetime/blog/2010-12-24/kean-if-beckham-was-available-wed-be-interested Thanks for that link. Perhaps I have been hasty in rushing to judgement, the more I hear this man at the helm of my team the more I warm to him. I had ticked all the wrong reasons that he went to India, to hear him he did it to get clarification for the players, good for him and well done. She said she could be here 20th of January he said ###### I'll be over there tomorrow. Good stuff.
Miker Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Give it a rest guys, Samba never handed in a transfer request and never directly said he wants to leave. The goings on at the club following Sam's sacking were absolutely bizarre, press reports and statements from Venky's were worrying, fans were restless, players were kept in the dark. Samba has just come out and said what everyone else thought and voiced his displeasure at the handling of things. Kean himself didn't know exactly what was going on until he went to the meeting in India. It's not unreasonable to think that Samba wants to be at a club moving forward not one shrouded in uncertainty and looking towards relegation. Under Sam we were progressing nicely and suddenly that was taken away with not many reassurances that it would get better. Now things seem promising, but it remains to be seen. Let's just hope Kean can get the same quality results on the pitch as he gets off it.
LeChuck Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 the more I hear this man at the helm of my team the more I warm to him. He's great on paper. Problem is, he's got the personality of a soggy fart. He's not management material at all. How is he meant to inspire people? Where is the charisma that top managers possess? I'd love to be proven wrong, but I don't think I will be.

Make no mistake. I've met the guy - he's so far up himself it's untrue. He had no problems 'inspiring' his players.
