Why watch the video? If the players don't know what they did wrong they shouldn't be at the so called height of their profession... also confidence wise it can't be good for anyone to go over their mistakes in minute detail, surely just getting it right instead of 'not' getting it wrong should be the emphasis... just a thought... I'm no football coach though, so what would I know?

Dunno when watching the video of the game has become such groundbreaking news!!!

2 things are starting to strike me about Kean's interviews in the paper.

Firstly, there is a lot of repetition of the points he is making, so he could speak for less time and still make his points.

Secondly, he regularly seems to cover the points that allegedly got him the job-his working hard and his positivity. So for the Fulham game he will be working hard every day and that will solve our problems.

Increasingly he comes over as a guy who hasn't got a clue.

Kean on Friday before the Villa game: "We've worked all week on stopping Villa on the counter attack"

Kean after the Villa game: "Villa tore us apart on the counter-attack"

Not got a lot of faith in the work they are doing on the training ground.

Plus in the last few games we only seem to concentrate on the opposition, what's our game-plan? Big Sam was critised for playing for clean sheets but now that is all we're doing (badly) at the minute.

Badly missing EH Diouf's work-rate and ball retention which has really exposed Salgado. I don't blame Diouf for going after Kean didn't even defend his own player when called a 'sewer rat' by Warnock.

Can we make a t-shirt out of that?

Maybe just maybe some posters have other things to do rather than post on here? I've been on holiday for a week so only posted yesterday.

True blue- web bullied? You have your opinion and I have mine but I have not made personal comments about you neither have I forced my opinion on you.

I was being flippant when I said web bullied. Imy I can't remember word for word our exchanges but I'm always happy to debate the issues at hand, some people though (and probably not you) have tried to win those arguments with name calling and silly insinuations. I've had GAV calling me a Burnley fan and constantly asking admin to ban me and I haven't got time to compile half of the names I've been called on here.

As I said, you and Hughsey deserve credit for sticking around and showing your frustrations and what's going on now, I didn't expect for things to be going this badly right now. The others may all be holiday, maybe their Venky's payslips have dried up so don't post anymore, all I know is all Rovers fans should be concerned if they weren't before....

I do not think it fair to think people are hidding on here - because some like myself were willing to wait to see how things panned out. Hindsite is wonderfull when things turn out good.

Since the takeover some poster have received all sorts of abuse becaue their opinions differed from others. This made visiting this site sometimes unpleaseant - which has been mentioned on other threads - maybe those people on the end of abuse have not returned - who can blame them. But all in all I believe we all care about the club, the team and want success for both. We just have differing opinions and ways of expressing them.

On the contrary Pafell, it's the name callers that have disappeared. I have PMs to prove who the nasty ones are and they haven't been active recently.

You got no name callings from me. I debated all along that I was sitting on the fence for awhile until I either knew more or people screwed up, such as Kean. I have often said in my view it was too early to judge either the owners or the manager.

The owners, I am still undecided.

Firstly because I respect the fact that they have had the courage to buy Rovers, when nobody else did.

Respect for their admitance they know nothing about football, hence turning to various advisors.

Sadly they may have to learn the hard way that how they are being advised is not in theirs or the clubs best interest.

I live in hope that they learn quick for all our sakes. If they do then we could be ok. But they need different advisors. John Williams would be the best advisor they could employ.

We have to ask a question, "if Jerome Anderson advised against sacking Sam - who changed the owners mind?".

Kean, we were told was appointed the manager out of the blue. I am starting to question that part. But he has been given his chance, so has Jensen and blown it.

We have to ask a question, "if Jerome Anderson advised against sacking Sam - who changed the owners mind?".

Anderson advised against the sacking "at that particular time".

Listen. Some things we know:

Venky's were asked numerous times, before the sale went through, about Sam Allardyce's future. They simply wouldn't confirm that his job was safe.

We are now told that JA was hired by the Trustees to find the club a buyer.

JA was involved in the selling process as an advisor to Venky's.

Before the sale went through, Mrs D was quoted a few times saying that the club could reach 5th place in the prem with an investment of around £5m, bringing in a few kids and a few loanees. Remind me again, how much did Mrs D know about BRFC and the Barclays Premier league at that time? where/who did she get that idea from?

Sam was sacked after 3 weeks. Mrs D said it had always been their intention to sack him, but they thought "what the hell, why wait?". Would it be fair to think that decision had been made before the sale went through? What did she know about the Allardyce way of playing football - and if the answer is "nothing", then who told her?

Steve Kean was appointed manager. What did Mrs D know about Steve Kean and his abilities as a Premier league manager? If the answer is nothing, then who told her that he was the right man?

Could all this point to the following scenario? JA/Kentaro or someone sold the club to Venky's, by showing them a model that says that they can get rovers into the top five clubs with nothing more than a small transfer budget, a few kids and a few loanees. In other words, very little actual investment. Could it be that JA advised that his agency could bring in the necessary players for Venky's and that the SA sacking was necessary to allow this? Could Venky's then have been lead to believe that with this minimal investment, they could push the club into India where they could expand and profit?

It's patently obvious in my mind what's happened here, but if someone can point out a flaw in my thinking, then I'll listen.

I think she is referring to my post on the previous page (post no 1540)

Thanks for that Pafell. OK now I have found it and read it I agree with mum's comment and +1

P.S. Mum and others: (Said in a whisper: It does help when you give a QUOTE if you want to refer to any previous post) ;)

There is no shame is saying you've made a mistake, especially when you are supposedly a big business venture. In fact its commendable. Failure to do so raises more questions and more negativity.

I hope people don't think I'm defending them but that's not how it's worked on here with Venkys is it? They've been pillioried from day 1 for every mistake and let's face it there's been a lot. So I can see them digging in on this one - part of it will be cultural too.

I also think that some on here that say they aren't gloating are coming dangerously close to it. Many of whom were very pro takeover not many months ago and quite vociferous against those more wary.

All in all a horrible state of affairs

The digging will be pretty shallow with £50million riding on it!

The noises from Brown and Roberts (who's only just got a new contract!) today suggest all is not well in the camp. When a manager 'loses' the dressing room, you very often only see 'the tip of the iceberg'.

I can't believe that Kean is still @ 50/1 with Hills to be the next PL manager to leave - a few on here have had a dabble at that staggeringly good price.

These 2 posts sums up the joke he is perfectly imo - anybody else feels he should be sacked on the spot?

They have a jolly in Dubai for a week or so - apparently? - work on stopping Villa(why) - and he has to go toothpick and comb through a video nasty to find out the probles.

I have posted on here enough times to say a feel 'managers  ' should be given a chance but this guy is a joke.

OJ -The training ground reference is very similar to what my post quote used to be

Today will hill brought down the odds of him being sacked next from 50/1 to 12/1 make u think they've heard something??

I got 50/1 less than 3 hours ago. I like a bet but doubt my stake had much to do with it!
