Had a cheeky fiver on at 50/1 last night - unbelievably good odds when you consider everything.

From a footballing perspective, the sooner we get any kind of experienced head in, the better.

Who on Earth would they appoint? This is the $64,000 question (or should I say, £250 question).

Venky's know next-to-nothing about football, despite Mrs Desai's protestations to the contrary that the influence of Kentaro is waning, I would expect that if Kean got binned, Kentaro/SEM would be submitting the names (of their clients).

I don't think it matters whether they bin Kean or not, I have this nasty feeling the next dope they get in will be just as bad. I can't imagine any decent, experienced manager worth his salt wanting to take over at Ewood.

Neither can I and that is the real problem, no one will want to work under the constraints they have here at the moment, I would think Rovers reputation has plummeted to an all time low within football!!

Kean should take responsibility, for all the on field problems. Its clear he needs to go, and its best that he goes immediately.

However, what has happened is more the fault of the owners, than just the fault of Kean.

A few key errors they made

The sacking of Sam, at a time of the season, when there was no need for it. Boring football yes, but a stable manager, loads of experience, and knows what he is doing.

The resignation of JW, due to the lack of respect shown towards him by the owners, meant we lost a true leader. The only man, who could have steadied the ship, or who could have advised the owners. Also a man, who the fans could fall back on, in times like these

That is the 2 moments, when things went from bad to worse. The owners and their advisors are to blame, because critical mistakes have been made, at crucial times of the season. Who is advising them, is it JA solely, or are there more than one advisor?

Right now, unless a cool head prevails, we could find ourselves in further disarray. The players need to stand up and be counted, and the owners need to make a call on Keans future. Time is running out, but we got to believe that we will be okay this season. Its going to be tight, but we got to as a club, make the right decisions.

I don't buy this let's sack Kean now idea personally.

It was a gamble giving him the job but several key players signed their future to the club whilst he has been in charge. Now I know some folk will point to money being part of those decisions but some of those players (e.g. Phil Jones) could have gone elsewhere and got good money too.

So do we get rid now and hope there is a ready replacement in the wings? Who is out there? Steve Maclaren or any number of other managers who would have a s many detractors as supporters. Of course some folk would point to O'Neil but come on, he walked out on Villa for heavens sake.

Anyway, the decisions are being made in Pune, so you had better shout very, very loudly if you want to be heard ........

am i right in thinking he has lost nine out of his 14 games in charge?, how many clubs would put up with with those statistics? never mind the 'he has to be given time' garbage, hes had long enough to prove himself and he has, hes proven hes not up to it.

I can tell you that we as supporters have been heard and very clearly too!!

steve kean in from 65-1 to 4-1 to be next to go with skybet

Maybe that is due to the amount of people betting on this from here. The result on Saturday, pass few results and performances, would automatically bring him into the reckoning.

Hopefuly, on the other hand, it is a very good sign and he is off.

Ok whats the odds on who the next manager will be.

It will all depend on whom is advising the owners if they sack Kean.

Do they trust the same advisors?

Are they in the position that they do not know better, therefore will feel 'obligated' to trust the same.

An extremely frightenning position to be in - because sadly I think the owners feel they are in the latter position.

Here is a question for all. Have Rovers ever had three different full time managers in one season before?

I suspect that there are now some issues between Venkys & Kentaro.

IMO, there is only one person Venkys can turn to for advice and direction, given that JW is out of the equation, and that is Tom Finn (maybe Philip or BPF can advise us on how TF is perceived by Venkys).

I would be staggered if Kentaro are still in there if Venkys now believe that they've been sold a very expensive pup (club) and delivered a dud (Kean).

If Tom Finn is the man and removing Kean is a 'goer', there will be a shortlist already in place with individuals already sounded out. My view is that Kean would be replaced in less than 48 hours.

I wouldn't rule out Tony Parkes as a stop gap either. TP is proven and has done it all before in the PL, rather better than Mr Kean, IMO!

All clubs have a bad patch, just look at champions chelsea and one of the worlds best managers in ancelotti.... Give Kean a chance!

We have. and he has only won 3 games in charge. just not good enough. we need a manager in charge not a coach who the players don't believe in or his tactics. this is ince all over again. He can't change tactics during a game, the players look downhearted and on the pitch don't seem to know where there are playing or what their role is on the pitch. JJ doesn't seem to be doing any good aswell. I think we only won one game since he came in, which was the WBA game.

SACKED SK AND JJ!!! And get us a proper manager in like JOL OR BILIC!!!

Keans record is surely worse than Allrdyce's record, before he got fired. The football being played is just as bad, so he should really be sacked as well. He has been given enough of a chance, and he has blown that chance.
