Exiled_Rover Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Suddenly we're causing them all types of problems. Benjani has made a real difference - Dunn just fired over after a very classy Benjani lay off.

Eddie Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Ah I give up. I've been going OTT about Kean to make a point (probably only to myself). Since the anti-Allardyce people have set themselves up in the pro-Kean camp, I thought I'd make irrational personal comments about him where possible, like people did with Sam. I'll drop it if people think I'm going mental though, it's not worth it. Don't really understand what the point in that is.
Blue n White Rover Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Finally creating some opportunities. Dunn just over the bar. We need to convert one and Sunderland will get a little nervous.

LeChuck Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Suddenly we're causing them all types of problems. Benjani has made a real difference - Dunn just fired over after a very classy Benjani lay off. Benjani is so frustrating, in games like this he can be great. Other times he looks like he'd embarrass himself in Sunday league games. I just hope he can hit a hot streak for a few months, like he did at Pompey before City paid £8 million for him.
Tooogs Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 We are the better team this half and I have full confidence in kean when he gets the players in
BRFC1995 Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 point we gave wham really has been a springboard for them...balls
Mr. E Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 So after going down 2-0 at half time, the players find it acceptable to be missing such chances in the 2nd.
doctorryan Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 It ain't over til it's over How's the view Doddsey?
philipl Posted January 1, 2011 Author Posted January 1, 2011 Get 1 and the pressure goes on Sunderland. Come on Rovers!
Exiled_Rover Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Richardson should be off. He's been late on Diouf and Dunn today. No booking for either.
RevidgeBlue Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 We've always looked better with two up front than one whether the manager was Souness, Hughes, Allardyce, McDonald or Kean. Unfortunately you can't give teams a two goal start and get away with it.
Rover Down Under Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 14 v 11 as usual. Sunderland getting away with murder while we get penalised for looking at them wrongly.
Blue n White Rover Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Should be 3-0. Don't know how Bent missed that. Lucky escape, need to make them pay.
Exiled_Rover Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Is it just me, or do all of Hoilett's shots get blocked?
kingsleyamis Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 So after going down 2-0 at half time, the players find it acceptable to be missing such chances in the 2nd. Yawn. Yes, that's right. They're deliberately missing chances now. Do you boo every time a Rovers attack doesn't result in a goal?
Blue n White Rover Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Is it just me, or do all of Hoilett's shots get blocked? No. They go wide as well. Never end up in the back of the net.
Backroom Tom Posted January 1, 2011 Backroom Posted January 1, 2011 I feel Hoilett just needs a goal to really ignite his Rover's career, he's looked dangerous every time I've seen him this season
Exiled_Rover Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Hoilett continues to look good. He should start every game from now on.
Eddie Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Bit unlucky that the ball didn't fall to one of our players there. If we can get a goal in the next 10 minutes it could be an interesting ending.
bigbrandjohn Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 How's the view Doddsey? Can't afford the rental
Exiled_Rover Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 M. Diouf book for........erm? Anyone? Shocking refereeing again.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Bit unlucky that the ball didn't fall to one of our players there. If we can get a goal in the next 10 minutes it could be an interesting ending. Think we'll get done on the break in the last 10 mins, going to end up 4.
vintageadidas Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Hoillet can run with the ball - that is about it! My mates dog can dribble but he cannot shoot or cross, just like Hoillet. If he adds this to his game he could be a decent player. We are not really doing anything in this game. Zenden will score to make it 3-0, the commentator mentioned he hadn't scored for a while.
