Exiled in Toronto Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 He's finished. His legs have gone completely and it's sad to see. Especially as he scored nigh on a quarter of our goals last season that aren;t going to be replaced by anyone who's at the club right now.

If we give the front men some actual service they'd easily replace his goal tally from last season.
CrazyIvan Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I hate to say this but I reckon even Keith Andrews would give Dunn a run for his place now. At least Andrews can run... (and point)
Backroom Tom Posted December 28, 2010 Backroom Posted December 28, 2010 Utterly bizarre that he still gets a start he hasn't done one thing well in about 3 games.
Amo Posted December 28, 2010 Author Posted December 28, 2010 Utterly bizarre that he still gets a start he hasn't done one thing well in about 3 games. Yup, he's been crap and looks dead on his feet yet Kean keeps picking him. Beats me!
King Kenny's Magic Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Utterly bizarre that he still gets a start he hasn't done one thing well in about 3 games. I don't think he'll start so much when we buy som CM'S. He was bloody awful again today. My nan would probably cover more distance than Dunnie!
OscarRaven Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Yup, he's been crap and looks dead on his feet yet Kean keeps picking him. Beats me! Influential player, important to try and keep him onside is my theory.
Exiled_Rover Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Hopefully relegated to the bench after our January transfer splurge. Such a passenger.
Majiball Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Hopefully relegated to the bench after our January transfer splurge. Such a passenger. If we signed someone on the 1st could he play against Sunderland?
Backroom Tom Posted December 28, 2010 Backroom Posted December 28, 2010 I thought we couldn't sign people till the fourth for some reason or at least the paperwork wouldn't be done
Majiball Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I thought we couldn't sign people till the fourth for some reason or at least the paperwork wouldn't be done Is that something to do with bank holidays? Or are the FA just too Scrooge like to pay the overtime?
King Kenny's Magic Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Is that something to do with bank holidays? Or are the FA just too Scrooge like to pay the overtime? Probably the latter
Backroom DE. Posted December 28, 2010 Backroom Posted December 28, 2010 We can't afford to have Dunn and MGP as our CM duo against Sunderland, it just leaves too big of a gap. Dunn should be a super sub at most, he is in no physical shape to be starting games at this level.
mhead Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 The problem is not Dunny it is 'sicknote' Grella. At least Dunny is finishing the matches - Grella never starts any.
Darwen Rover Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Agree with supersub a few have suggested... Could really work ie last ten mins to impact a game if required.. Just to run at defenders... Other than that afraid he's finished thank you for last season though!
Amo Posted December 28, 2010 Author Posted December 28, 2010 The problem is not Dunny it is 'sicknote' Grella. At least Dunny is finishing the matches - Grella never starts any. Probably the worst... and yet also the best, defence you could have for Dunny.
King Kenny's Magic Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 The problem is not Dunny it is 'sicknote' Grella. At least Dunny is finishing the matches - Grella never starts any. We all know about Grella being a complete waste of time. The problem is that Dunn has been @#/? all season. He seems match fit now so there's no excuse for his crap displays.
Majiball Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Pound for pound he's the best player we have in that position at present, frightening as that is. You don't play Hoillet in the middle if you have faith Linganzi is capable of playing at this level. Especially considering all you have to do is drop your shoulder and juniors gone, another player Kean played there instead of Linganzi. I'm pleased that Kean played Emo at RB today as by moving him there, it opens up a slot in the midfield and we get instant cover for the supposedly soon to de departed Chimbonda. A positive from it all is that by playing Junior in there it shows Kean has some faith in the lad, so hopefully we'll get to see some more of the lad. Juniors got something about him, he gets bums off seats and since he's come through the ranks he could go on to replace Dunn. But to do that he needs to play, something that really hasn't happened since he returned.
Amo Posted December 28, 2010 Author Posted December 28, 2010 Pound for pound he's the best player we have in that position at present, frightening as that is. Pound for pound he's also the heaviest player we have in that position.
King Kenny's Magic Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Pound for pound he's also the heaviest player we have in that position. and in quite possibly the league...
Torgeir Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 At least he has two games under his belt now, and should improve unless he breaks down again. He has been crap, and a liability in the past two games. Hopefully though, now we can see some vintage Dunn for 60 mins until he gets subbed due to exhaustion.
King Kenny's Magic Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 David Dunn is f$cking @#/?,f$cking @#/?,f$cking @#/? David Dunn is f$cking @#/?...he eats burgers At least he has two games under his belt now, and should improve unless he breaks down again. He has been crap, and a liability in the past two games. yeti-dog Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Puerile yes...but doesn't alter the fact Dunn's a busted flush, true rover or not.
King Kenny's Magic Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 What a load of purile, pathetic rubbish about a true Rover. Have word with yourself ffs. Apparently he once said to my cousin(who he's good mates with) he would rather play for Burnley than play again under souness. Yeah true rover. Get your head out the sand, have a word with yourself ffs.
