mode_m Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 -----------Robbo Salgado Samba Nelsen Givet ----Adam--N'zonzi---MGP Ronaldinho-----------Olsson -----------Kalinic Looks alright to me that, bring in a proper left back and a new right back in the summer and we'll be set for a couple of years with the youngsters that we have coming through. I like the above, but everyone has left out Jones.

FourLaneBlue Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 One thing that needs to come from this...they really do need to start singing from the same hymn sheet. If they haven't a clue who in the family is saying what...then what chance does John Williams have? I can't see how he can continue on like this for much longer. Has our Chairman any involvement at all in transfers? He certainly doesn't have any clout relating to decisions relating to the management any longer.
AlanK Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 A few days ago I heard Beckham might go to Spurs. Once the cat was out of the bag I heard he might go to 14 different clubs. Today I hear Ronaldhino might go to Rovers. Give it a few hours and he will be linked with most clubs in the premier league, La Liga, Seria A etc However, as ludicrous as it is ( Jim! ) its still bloody good fun even thinking about it. Most exciting thing transfer wise since the early to mid 90`s
JoeBlueWhite Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 So have a cup of cocoa, go to bed and dream instead about Steve Kean and his master plan for us to escape relegation. God you are boring. Probably even worse than thenodrug. I would say both of you are competing for idiotic troll of the year 2010/2011.
Seggie Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Quite so, It's crazy, it's ludicrous, it's silly, it's not going to happen. So have a cup of cocoa, go to bed and dream instead about Steve Kean and his master plan for us to escape relegation. Jim, I aint going to disagree with you. I think we have pretty much the same views on how the club is being run, we agree on Sam, but Im clinging to the hope that these people may actually have good intentions for the club even if its for the bigger picture of expanding their global chicken business. I have an emotional attatchment to the club, like many fans, I am getting through this mess Venkys may or may not be creating, by blind faith be it idiotic or belief, by thinking of something a great man once said "Think Big" and it is those words that will get me through the next month, the season and the forthcoming seasons after that. There is one thing Jack Walker would not want in these uncertain times is for the fans to become divided and distant from the club, support the team it doesn't mean you have to agree with the selection of players or manager, we need to back them not Venkys. bigbrandjohn Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Seems like the roller coaster has come to a halt. Are we there yet, or should I close my eyes and reach for the barf bag again as Pune emerges from the darkness, enters a new day and the ride gathers pace again ?
Brad Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Seems like the roller coaster has come to a halt. Are we there yet, or should I close my eyes and reach for the barf bag again as Pune emerges from the darkness, enters a new day and the ride gathers pace again ? Next ride departs at 6am..
dave birch Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 It's good news for the rovers only if some big name signing comes off. However, if we don't get involved, no one will ever make it to Ewood other than also rans.
bigbrandjohn Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Next ride departs at 6am.. Just enough time to pop a joyride and change my trousers
chaddyrovers Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 A loan deal for santa cruz would be okay. 5 million for Charlie Adam would be good signing and perfect replacement for dunn. Only 40 minute to Mrs Desai, sadly i won't be able to watch it but I will be sky plus it and watch it later.
Miker Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Can someone summarise the points on here or post links? I finish work at the time it gets aired.
Backroom Madon Posted January 4, 2011 Backroom Posted January 4, 2011 Its not been on yet but when they flick through what's coming up it sounds like steve kean is to get a 3 year contract because of his ' global vision'..... Uh-oh!
Bobby G Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 A 3 year contract on the back of being promoted to manager and already getting a revised contract? Why tie yourself to someone who has all to prove still with his 1 win in 4 games record?
John Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Keane 3 year deal, did I just hear that right!? Crazy, mentioned Duff back too or am I half asleep
Backroom Madon Posted January 4, 2011 Backroom Posted January 4, 2011 Bloodyhell, back to sleep for me. Hopefully I'm just in the middle of a nightmare... Steve Kean to be given a 3 year contract? Can't say I've been to impressed in the last 4 games! willing to give him a chance with a fully fit squad though..
John Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Apparently because he is positive and a thinker that merits a new 3 year contract for Kean. Jeez, SEM really do look after their clients well.
Bobby G Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 I thought we already gave him a chance with a 6 month deal? Its a joke. In the days when long contracts mean nothing for clubs, why do this? Positive spinners where art thou, come here and spin this to our benefit...
SamTheShrew Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 I missed it, just. What did she say about our goofy Brazilian friend?
Taggart Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Apparently he is interested :-) http://www.thebee.co.uk/news/review.php?article=339079
bluebruce Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Apparently he is interested :-) http://www.thebee.co.uk/news/review.php?article=339079 Quote from the same bloke who said we weren't interested though. Quite frankly I struggle to believe a word that comes out of his mouth right now. Not saying it isn't true, but I'd be far more willing to believe it if it came from Ronaldinho's agent. Yes, I trust him less than I trust agents (is this Venky's way of paving the ground for us to accept agents running things? Joke, before anyone shoots it down). So is this true about Kean getting a 3 year deal? Edit- Oh, incidentally, LET dropped through my door...seems they're very unhappy about getting fed a load of chicken crap from Venkatesh yesterday!!
doctorryan Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Well. I just saw the interview on Sky aaaaannnnnnnnnnddddddddddddddd................ - 3 year deal for Keano - We're pushing hard for 'dinho - ...and we're trying to bring back Dufferino. Sorry........... 2 other players also in the crosshairs. I must say that they come off much better in this interview, but then we don't have a whole lot to compare it to.
philipl Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 It's Ronaldinho's head and heart that matter. Venky's clearly want to do something huge, so their wallets count too. I thought it was a long shot when I heard, but I am beginning to wonder. If you asked me to stake my last fiver on it I would say something will go wrong. If that is the case - I just hope it gets sorted quickly. The manager's list is THE priority. You need to sign three or four players. If you get a cherry on top like Ronaldinho that would be spectacular. If you don't get the rest of the cake too then it would be daft - and dangerous. Very sensible post.
Miker Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 3 year contract is ludicrous! A workmate of mine told me the other day that someone did a study to prove that promoting people randomly is better for business, maybe that's the scheme they're trying here.
doctorryan Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Skysports (courtesy of that wonderful bastion of upstanding journalism The Sun) has added us to the Beckham chase.
