PAFELL Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 And which lucky Blackburn woman is being given the responsibility to give birth to these 7000 non-existent fans? Do you think there are really 7000 people in Blackburn that think "I would love to go to Ewood but not unless they sign a former world player of the year, until that happens I aint going". Do these 7000 extra fans even exist? You can't tap into a market that doesn't exist Er you are forgetting about people like my wife and I who do not live in the blackburn area. But do come to a few home games as well as one or two away games. We hope to be going to WHU and fulham later in the season, we were up at christmas time. We were speaking to a young lad from norway, who incidently says he comes to about 8 games a season at ewood. Hoping to come up again at Easter. I sincerely hope for a winter break as it can be hit or miss on the traveling in winter and games being on. Long way to travel for a cancellation. There are many Rovers supporters outside of blackburn. So many we could even have our own supporters club / thread. Where every game is an away game.
hawkiiz Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Pfft. No story on it yet. Just the headline and people saying "sources don't belive Ronnie will sign" what else is new? Wait for Nicko to shed light.
Craigman Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Sorry, Just posted the news from Plunkett's twitter page. Will have to find out more when Nicko/BPF shares their views later.
Roost Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Pfft. No story on it yet. Just the headline and people saying "sources don't belive Ronnie will sign" what else is new? Wait for Nicko to shed light. So, not exactly dead in the water with yet then?

The Norwegian Supporters go over on a huge trip at least one time every season. I Usually go a couple of times depending on money and other matches corresponding. Was the little man by any chance Ronny? So, not exactly dead in the water with yet then? I don't see how it could be dead unless Ronnie already signed for someone else..? Also if they know he will not sign, why not back it by a story?
nicko Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Sky Breaking news: Ronaldinho will not be sold to Blackburn.. Ronaldinho is talking to Gremio today. So he hasn't signed for anyone yet. There are some halfwits at Sky. They spent the first half of yesterday denying it, then confirming it. There is a bit more life in this tale.
67splitscreen Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 He was just in the Nike store in Rio buying new beach shorts and swimwear, the ones with the pouch in the front, tosser.
bellamy11 Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Have just changed the desktop background of my work computer from Ronaldinho to Charlie Adam. Upsetting.
LeftWinger Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Wasn't it Skysports who revealed the breaking news about John Williams leaving the club?

nicko Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Wasn't it Skysports who revealed the breaking news about John Williams leaving the club? There are plenty of people around just now who want to throw some sh!t at the fan. And Sky like to fire it back out without checking its quality.
S15 Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Sounds like Sky in a shameless attempt to be in a position to say "we broke it first." I hope to God this backfires on them, but it probably won't.
nicko Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 What odds would you give us based on all the info you have? There are two things that have to happen here...once they do I will be checking the odds...and letting you know afterwards...
philipl Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Right Lets see how we get on with spending that 20 odd spare million! Sound la! Picking up the various bits and pieces that have been said and reported, I think Ronaldinho's marquee deal was coming out of Bilaji's own pocket and was not the Rovers transfer fund which I understand was going to be whatever it is going to be irrespective of Ronaldhino. Wind back 48 hours and we were hearing the Rovers budget and list of players were not yet agreed in India. Would they have focussed on these matters with all the toing and froing and contradictary press interviews over Ronadinho in the meantime? I am genuinely rather surprised that Ronaldinho is not coming- as I posted previously, I thought everything was aligning for him to come. Hard hat time for Rovers' fans for the next day or so.
nicko Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Sounds like Sky in a shameless attempt to be in a position to say "we broke it first." I hope to God this backfires on them, but it probably won't. Sky's transfer expert has just repeated the story they were running earlier. No mention of Ronnie going elsewhere. These people are amateurs.
bubblerrovers Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 What a window already, Ronnie and Beckham but in reality we'll end up with the right back from Norwich
Bobby G Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Can we read anything in the "will not be sold" to Blackburn? As in this is something Milan have said. In other words, theyve said Brazil or nowhere. Worth looking into.

Do these 7000 extra fans even exist? You can't tap into a market that doesn't exist Do you think it is the same 25,000 or so that go to the home games every time? Of course they exist.
S15 Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Can we read anything in the "will not be sold" to Blackburn? As in this is something Milan have said. In other words, theyve said Brazil or nowhere. Worth looking into. Yeah, now maybe Sky have said it they'll look into it.
PAFELL Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 What a window already, Ronnie and Beckham but in reality we'll end up with the right back from Norwich Gets better, bennie has been told he can leave WHU - not even scored a goal form them. QPR want him, but he says he is not prepared to step down. Real reason is the pies are cr@p.
den Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 The Trustees left the place as nicko says "in a state." In a state? What do you call the events since the trustees sold out? I don't agree with your assessment of RSC, Adam and Ronaldinho. As I said last night I think they'd all be good signings. How could Rocky possibly be a good signing? He hasn't played since he was here. We would be lucky to get ten games out of him between now and the end of the season. Charlie Adam is a matter of opinion. Ronaldinho according to most on here, wont happen. So go on, who would you like in? Irrelevant Rev. Anyway, my post was about where we are currently. Ronaldinho - not likely to happen? Adam possible? A young lad from Barca "C" team. Is that where we are? Because if it is, we're a long way short - yet.
BRFCS Content Posted January 4, 2011 Author Posted January 4, 2011 A News Roundup covering some of the developments of the last 24 hours has just been posted in the news section. See here. Thanks.
hawkiiz Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Are not Gremio broke, so no reason to panick? If he wants to go there it will not be for money anyway - leaving us out no matter what we throw at him. If he is keen on cash, he will not go to Gremio, or am I wrong?
modes98 Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 There are some halfwits at Sky. People in the know feeding some lines to sky then! If Mrs D is to be believed I don't see how Gremio could compete. If he goes to the club because he wants to play for them over the money then the guy deserves more credit than I gave him before. Keen's sumation that the longer it goes on the less likely it is seems about right. If he wants the money then he will make a play for it quickly, unless Mrs D wants to give him the "increased offer" she so willingly talked about.
