cn174 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 I see SSN has removed the Roque & Duff article from their transfer centre clockwatch. Two guesses for why! It is running across the bottom of the telly as breaking news though.

RibbleValleyRover Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Talking about going backwards if we bring back a past it Duffer, a dodgy knees Roque and swap Samba for Collins. This has surely got to be a smokescreen for bringing better players in?
chaddyrovers Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 SSN saying we are trying to bring in both RSC and Duff on loan. Utter rubbish, we cant have both on loan as we already have 2 domestic loans, un less we are looking to bid for MB Diouf. I was thinking that. would be a good signing for us permanent. No chance of duff, would mind seb larsson and steven davis from rangers. Don't think Blackpool will let Charlie Adam go for decent fee and will probably about 7 or 8 million and he's not worth that!
JAL Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 If Samba leaves, it will be for a main reason: he wants to leave!!! It will be because the club have NO ambition !
Oklahoma Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 It will be because the club have NO ambition ! What ambition?!?!!? Of being Aston Villa?!?!?!!?
JAL Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 What ambition?!?!!? Of being Aston Villa?!?!?!!? Should have said No money, but the two are linked when it comes to football.
Fylde Coast Fan Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Holloway on Adam: ""We don't need to sell anyone. We are in a great situation and I don't think any one of my lads will want to move, or at least I'd be very surprised if they did," said the boss. "If another Premier League club comes in for them which isn't Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City or Chelsea, I'd be surprised if they wanted to go. "If it was one of those big four that came in, then maybe I'd have to talk to them."" http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sports-news/Holloway-will-only-sell-Adam.6682613.jp
BuckyRover Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Should have said No money, but the two are linked when it comes to football. I blame Friedel
den Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Sky Sports News reporting Duff and Roque on loan is looking good No way Fulham would let a regular first team starter go out on loan.
trs Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Every so often I think to myself, what the hell is OUR CHAIRMAN making of all this?

cruz Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Pardon me for saying it but the last time I looked a stroppy right winger was way down on our list priorities. And it's THE CHAIRMAN who goes out and secures the players on loan or permanant deals, but why let facts get in the way of a good rant
duffbear Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 I know if duff does come it will be on a perm. But does anyone know if we sign M B Diouf in January does that definatley mean we still have 2 domestic loans?

And it's THE CHAIRMAN who goes out and secures the players on loan or permanant deals, but why let facts get in the way of a good rant I didn't ask what does the CHAIRMAN do. Trust me I have nothing but the upmost respect for him like the majority if not all on this board.
booth Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 So we have no money, is that the story again? I'll go back to sleep, in an hour we will be flush again
Antgrad Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Anyone know if this is really Jason Brown's Twitter? @greathover32 Just had it confirmed that I can leave blackburn for free! Any jobs going about?
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 ALL eyes on you Venky's.......we were promised money for this team. LET US DOWN AT YOUR PERIL!

Offer a footballer a contract which would double if not triple their wages and see how loyal most of them are.
Clitherover Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 I hate all this ''The sun shines out of Ian Holloway's arse'' stuff I keep hearing on the radio etc. The bloke is a prize tool and proves it time and time again.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 ALL eyes on you Venky's.......we were promised money for this team. LET US DOWN AT YOUR PERIL! Hit the nail on the head SG. They've bleated on about improving the squad in January and bringing in good players ("because the fans deserve it" - MS Desai) If they don't they will lose any remaining credibility with fans and media alike come Feb 1st.
beerwins Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Why does it feel very much like every other window for us Rover's ? Have we not endured enough over the past couple of season's with the trust strangling the club for every penny to make it a nice asset to sell? We probably need more investment than any other club in the prem yet we are watching quality players like Bentley strengthen rival teams while we sit on our hands. Get your finger out Venky's because "just trust us" only last's so long and the constant different statements from our owners and manager suggests the fans aren't going to be the only one who gets disgruntled.

RoverMad86 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Ryan Babel?? Also the two lads Sunderland are after would be good for us!! Muntari is a player we should be really looking at!!
