Yea, season ticket holders only until Thursday

Cheers, looks like I'm possibly a season ticket holder short for the number of tickets we need, may have to wait until Thursday - shouldn't all be sold out by then. I hope....

Just booked 2 adults and 1 child match tickets AND train £34! Chelsea can shove their £47-50 where the sun doesn`t shine! :P

Spot on - this is what football should be all about...an affordable day out for the family...or just the lads :P

Got mine..they were almost disappointed when I said I didn't want the cheap two tickets...

If by any chance we sell our allocation, it's pretty straightforward to get then from ticket office at Wigan providing you don't turn-up in a Rovers' shirt! Any problems then ask for Helen. Providing you don't behave like a lunatic on the day then you'll be fine.

No need for specially arranged pubs - the one bang outside the ground is quality for away fans! :tu:

Great atmosphere there last time i went to the JJB(NOW DW). We won 3-0 the Christmas of 2006.

Any decent hotels in Wigan?

Depends what you are after Presty - cheap /in town - close to ground?

Hotel close ish and cheap but not much near it -

Premier Inn, Warrington Road, Marus Bridge, Wigan,

Lancashire WN3 6XB (- is on the left hand side just after turning off the slip road) - or alternative's in town

http://www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/WIGWHE/wigan-m6,-j25

I recommend this - near the hospital not far from town Centre

http://www.thebellinghamhotel.co.uk/

Also try this

There is the OAK hotel in the town centre but not one I recommend in terms of service and and has been traditionally expensive - there is a good pub at the back of it though decent beer - Sams Bar (there are x2 Sams in Wigan)

Thankyou very much :)

Looking into the Premier Inn you said or some Macdonald Spa hotel.

Going to let the lady decide as it will be first ever experience of Rovers or a football match for that matter.

We'll be in the Red Robin pub for 11am though :brfcsmilie:
