I`ve noticed the lease is up for sale at Uncle Jacks pub, Lower Darwen. Does anybody know owt about it?

How much are they asking?

why are they selling up?

Is it a busy pub?

What reputation has it got?

I spoke to somebody on here a year or two back who worked for S&N (i think) but my memory is bad. I wouldn`t mind some info from anybody 'in the know'

Not sure about Uncle Jacks but Scottish & Newcastle are shocking landlords by all accounts, charge obscene amounts for anyone running one of their pubs.

In theory it could be a good pub, Rovers punters on a matchday and in a built up area like Lower Darwen.
