SSN reporting Newcastle been given permission to talk to Seb Larsson. Bet we're nowhere near that one.

Also been re-linking us to Maradonna. The big man himself has said he's been invited over for talks with a Premier League club next month over becoming their manager. He said if they can 'convince him' he might come.

If they were only making £7.7 million a year, where on earth did the fourty-odd million to pay for BRFC and to pay off the large debt of BRFC come from? I think that alone is confirmation they have more funding than the chicken business.

They haven't paid off the debt, have they? So it's just £20M. Which they might or might have not loaned from somewhere.

a) Why do people get 200k mortgages when they only earn 20k a year? They obviously see it as an investment, huge advertising stage that would cost millions to create outside of football and they probably think we are a stable club who they can sell on later for the sum or even a profit.

B) they've "taken on" the debt was the last line on that wasn't it?

Just four days to catch up with that one then...

I don't think Larsson is anywhere near Steve Kean's current list.

And the way Hoilett has shaped up lately maybe there is less of a need for a winger.

so whats the deal with this Mouche laddie?

A once highly rated forward from the Boca Jrs. farm. Burst onto the screen on the coattals of a great U20 South American championship (played w/ Messi) a few years back. Was then loaned out to a lower eschelon 1st. Division club (Arsenal) where he performed well. Unfortunately, his 2 + years at Boca have been rather forgettable having gotten into some scuffles w/ the overbearing Riquelme over a bird and for the past 18 mos. he's been 'parked'.

At this point, he nothing but an afterthought at Boca, they've even brought back Noir on loan from Ecuador to be 3 choice over Mouche. So it would seem that Boca's wanted him out since last year and now they're flogging him as if he's the 2nd. coming of Hernan Crespo!

If Boselli came to England on the wave of various successful season w/ Boca & Estudiantes, what chance does Pablo Mouche have without any continuity or playing in the reserves for the past 18 months?

We should be all over Adam like a rash, even if it means ONLY signing him this January. Hoilett is playing well right wing at the moment, Olsson should be first choice left midfielder. That leaves the centre, N'Zonzi to come back from injury to do the dirty work and Adam to be the creative spark. Wait until summer and look to sign atleast one centre forward, a specialist left back (if we're owed 2m from Warnock, and he isnt wanted, why arnt we ringing Villa and saying "we'll write off that debt, plus give you 500k for Warnock), and another midfielder as cover.

If Samba wants to go then fine, Collins cant play for Villa because if he does they have to give him another contract, so Villa are the needy ones here, we want Collins + 4m for Samba. Otherwise, explain we'll sell him at the end of the season however at the moment nobody will pay what we think he's worth. It all seems pretty simple to me.

LOL, I'll re-phrase "credible source please" :D

Venky's India, their main business, the one they want to promote so much had a turnover of just over £100m last year with a profit of £7.7m after tax so I would love to know where the other £900m of turnover and £110m of profit is coming from. And why the Raos aren't promoting these other companies which are worth more to them.

I believe the figure is based on the VH Group, Venkys is subsidary of the VH Group. I dont want to go off topic, but they have cash, and lots of it, its just a case of if they are serious in inveting lots in Rovers. Lets hope for all our sakes they are.

Joey Barton is on £67,000-a-week, has 18 months of his contract left and is not on Steve Kean's shopping list.

But it does give you an idea of what good players get paid these days.

Take him a flash myself, but it's not happening.

Are you going part way to admitting we have little money Nicko ?

One thing going in our favour (or at least north west clubs) is that Charlie Adam has recently got engaged to a Fylde coast girl and bought a house outside Poulton le Fylde. It's a small thing but stuff like that seems to count - if we match the offer of, say, Sunderland, then not having to move house to go to training is a positive.

How is he saying that? He is merely pointing out the article is rubbiah as it says his contact is up in the summer when its not up for another 18months. He's not on our list because Newcastle are never going to sell, and he probably wouldnt leave, he is onto a good thing at the Toon.

Liverpool are desperate to beat Blackpool on wednesday. Adam story is their way to give pressure on Blackpool. Why oh why Rovers aren´t prefering O´Hara?

O'Hara has always impressed me - maybe he wouldn't like it up t'north ? Given a choice - O'Hara has done it over a longer period in the Premiership - and is possibly a better bet. Wouldn't be disappointed in either player - but don't think we should pay over the odds Adam.
