I think we should all stop posting in here until something concrete has happened!!! Rather than slag each other off,l slag venkys off or who ever, we should leave it and keep the sites server space free for when we have something to discuss

Have been surprised at the stick dished out to fellow Roverites.

Every supporter should be entitled to an opinion whether others like it or not and that opinion should be respected. Isn't that what MB's are all about ?

Have you seen how fast deals get done on transfer deadline day? within 12 hours, i don't think it takes long to sort out faxes and paperwork

what if there are problems with the fax machine, with technology on the final day? leaving it until then, can be a dangerous game to play. get it early and done with.

Just a quick point on the way people keep going on about Steve Kean promising there would be 2 new signings before the QPR.

Here is what he actually said -

"I hope by QPR we will have held a press conference to announce we have some more bodies in."

http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/blackburnrovers/news/8768121.Blackburn_Rovers_boss_fears_Ronaldinho_signing_is_growing_less_likely/

Steve Kean like all of us wants to get players in asap, he unfortunately has no control of it, its in the hands of JW. All the guy has said is he hopes to have new players before the QPR game, especially given the injury problems we have. I'm prety sure most PL managers would say the same thing.

In regards to transfers, looks like the Adam situation is moving along, will be interesting to see what happens there.

The Dunn story looks like lazy journalism to me, we have been linked with Duff, Hughes has Rovers connections.

I'm assuming those quotes were taken from the same interview as the one in the LET. I think the Mirror have missed out the key word however, which is hope, and I actually saw the interview on SSN. The sentence above doesnt even make sense.

He also forgot to add ".....if John Williams and his team pull their finger out with that list of targets he has been given."

My thoughts exactly. A few positives on this one though

• He is from Barcelona, the best team in the world. To even be in the B squad is pretty interesting.

• From the vids I have seen he has a great free-kick. His trickery is hard to judge because the opponents are too weak, but a good free-kick is good no matter what.

• When Barcelona played Tottenham in the Wembley Cup pre-season (I think in 2009) he was on the bench. I don't know if he played a part, but Guardiola certainly thought he was worth having in the squad.

• He is only 19.

• He plays for the U19 Spain national team.

He's not, he's in their "B Team" who are a lower league team that just happen to be affliated with Barca. They don't have as many teams as we do here so a lot of their lower leagye teams are B teams but they are no more competitive that Doncaster Rovers.

Ahmen to all those points as far as I'm concerned, I would also add in the very high likelihood of his ball control being far superior to most PL players being a distinct possibility
