Wow, I live near London too..how amazing! Maybe we should find all the other people here that live in or near London, or have ever been to London :D

maybe if you are looking for common ground you should be asking for any other tedious clowns looking to antagonise and I will save you the predictable retort of suggesting that could be me

Can we please keep this damb thread on topic. I read this thread for transfer gossip not to find out how many frigging people live in leeds and take the train to ewood. Nor to find out how much money venkys have (i believe there is a tread for that)

Back on topic, seems we are waiting for something to happen elsewhere before we can sign anyone.

I don't think people would be talking about those things if there was any significant transfer gossip...

Does no one remember how utterly useless Warnock was in defense? A hard worker for sure, but the lad does not know the first thing about defending. No better than Chimbonda.

I'll agree with you there. What made him look good was the fact he positioned himself poorly but fought to get back. And when he wasn't out of position he was on the floor.

Just think of the publicity

yes lets just think... a drug ridden argentinian taking the reigns on transfers

We would be the dogs (don't say that word)

Paul Gascoigne for manager aswell?

I know... lets try and sign a brazilian who's after a final payout.. 130k per week to strut around Ewood every once in a while!! (just as ridiculous)

Call me pesimistic but i dnt think we'll sign anyone (its a case of Marquee signing or nothing)... February 1st will tell us more

Yes it will.

So what was the point of that other garbage you posted?

This is so drab. Scrolled through all those pages. So basically put so far this window, with targets in mind, half a dozen did I hear Keano say? we have been knocked back by a massive PR stunt, Ronaldinho and that is it. C. Adam is our big one? are we really sniffing it out. Funny thing with Adam is, as I mentioned elsewhere, I can't help but feel he is one of those one club wonders. Does great for one team, moves and never again aspires to those levels. I don't think mush is going to happen on the inbound front. Nevertheless I'll prolly trawl through another 20 odd pages of "good on CM" comments and you tube's next Messi's after work only to find the same thing. One or two posts by nicko is all I really need to see. Fingers crossed to come home one evening and be pleasantly surprised.

Save yourself the time and effort and check out the "Transfer Digest and Links" compiled daily by Wen Y Hu.

Ah yes, Preston, one of the worlds' great metropolises.

Oh and so I can keep things on topic, I hope we sign Charlie Adam blah blah blah

Yes I too have postive emotions over the signing of Charlie Adam

I don't live IN Preston, just an hours drive from The Lakes, The Dales and The Peaks rather than an hours drive from the nearest sink estate or tip as it would be in London :D

So Venky's over in force .... the same day Maradona arrives in the UK? Cue meltdown from the usual suspects .... ;)

What does this post mean?

Are you saying this is pure coincidence and there's nothing for the "usual suspects" to worry about?

Or are you saying there might be something in it and you're not worried about that coke-head managing us so long as you can have a laugh at the "usual suspects"?

In truth you've no more idea than the rest of us whether Maradona is heading our way or (praise the lord) going somewhere else have you?

I think a return of Stevie Warnock wouldn`t be a bad thing for the club - I know many of you feel his defending wasn`t the greatest and his last ditch tackles were a result of being out of position, but I`m not sure I agree with you all, I think he was caught out of position quite a bit due to the shape of the team and possibly becuase of the way he was being asked to play. I think he would be a good addition at left back, with Morten or Ollson infront of him.

also, if we are going to lose Samba, I would quite like Rovers to go for Daniel Agger - just in teh short introduction he had against Rovers last week, he is very comfortbale on the ball, and from what we have seen whilst in a Liverpool shirt, he can defend as well - would prefer him to Collins !
