Is he playing on Saturday? Could be an improvement!

Seriously this is the 4th list submitted to Venky's and that is without counting anything Jerome Anderson has sent them.

An improvement on the team that beat Liverpool? Or the team that beat QPR?

One list submitted and being worked on.

Steve Kean's names.

Really...

I think you are jumping a little bit there. I think he is just saying that the management (read Kean) has sent a list to Venkys. Now Jensen is a part of the manegement, he says "we" because it would look funny if he said "they have sent a list to the owners".

That's how I interpret what he's saying.

Has anyone seen a valuation for van bommel??? Man, I really want to see him in our kit!

Think how much fun it would be to see him clattering into some of the premiership prima donnas --- seriously, MVB will provide the steel (easily) -- but his passing ability will surprise most

Good player!

PS- wonder how Webb would like to see him again ????

Do you think he is physically big / strong enough for that role in in the PL ?

He looked the part in the world cup. Size isn't everything you only have to look at Makelele.

To the person who said I was pretending to be Steve kean I wasn't. All i was saying that I hoped a good young player who is available cheap was being considered.

In other news it seems Sunderland are aiming for that kid from PSG Sessegnon. Maybe they will drop their interest in Adam if their looking at other targets.

Man City's top money man reckons Roque is done and dusted from their point of view...so that should be a matter of hours now.

Not my cup of tea, but hey ho.

One thing about it is clear.

Steve Kean makes the decisions on signings - nobody else.

Why are you so dead set against him? You do know we are short of bodies. A fit Roque is better than all our strikers. We always aim for higher supposedly but end up with no one, so Id rather take Roque now before business as usual hits us. Is it purely his fitness levels or what?

Sorry I forgot there are people on this MB who cannot count up to 4.

There's that sense of humour you're famed for.

Not as good as your Alonso gag, or the Middlesbrough one, and I'm still waiting for United to go bust...

Was it his idea to go for Ronaldinho ?

I thought we didn't go for him Jim? Can't have it both ways.

It would have been his decision whether to take him or not, as he stated. He never got chance to sit down with the player since he wasn't interested, but the only way he would have come would have been after talking to Kean.

There you go you hit the nail on the head a fit Roque. Will we see that or will he be injured all the time? Personally I think its a gamble lets see which Roque we have had at the end of the season.

Done...not played for ages...wild wages...ties up the final loan.

Apart from that. Not much.

Well thats the role he should play, however, he hasnt featured much this season and his fitness levels may be down,

cant see him doing much more than 50/60 minutes, could be wrong but I think it would be dangerous, given he is injury prone!

Not my cup of tea, but hey ho.

Don’t understand the negative remarks regarding Santa Cruz.

Its clear to me that first of all under the Walker trust we’d not have been in for Roque, so that’s a plus point for the new owners.

We sold him for 17m in 2009, he possibly returns on a loan deal with an option to buy, great bit of business surely.

Santa Cruz is a proven premiership striker given a run of games and fitness. Now whilst fitness is obviously of concern, we lose nothing if he can’t get fit, but if he does, we inherit a striker who scored a goal every two games for us, during his time here.

It’s a complete no brainer to take him back for me.
