This made me smile, because it's exactly what I was thinking. Seriously, I haven't seen the board so polarised and so entrenched before. Jim, JAL and philipl, in particular, are coming across as hysterical, which is a shame because I used to enjoy their opinions, contributions, and humour. Now they're sounding like Vinjay on the trust (yeah, you really do).

Even if you're worried about information you're hearing, or just in general, the _way_ you're saying it sounds a bit mental.

Anyone else getting the impression that Venky's have taken some advice and shut up? Haven't heard from them in a while! I'm relieved, if so.

Undecided about Santa, was quite unhappy with his antics prior to departure, but I did like him as a player and he seems like a fairly nice chap. I'd love to believe that he misses us. Dammit, I'm just going to go ahead and believe that! I understand the reservations of those that have them, particularly about his wages, which seem astronomical.

Could the poster who keeps mentioning Bentley please leave it. He wasn't coming back. Plus he behaved terribly before leaving and I would hate to see him back. Dont let 47er hear you saying that.

LET - Mrs Desai has said Damien Duff and Ruben Rochina are also targets. Are you surprised targets have been named by the owners publicly before the signings have been sealed?

Kean - It is difficult because the owners have not got as much experience dealing with the English media.

I think they are very open, they will say whatever is on their mind.

We are trying to encourage them to go through Paul Agnew at the club so we can have a handle on what is released. We would like to be in control of the etiquette of it.

Heres hoping the controversial news is us going for Barton. Been amazing this year regardless of the excess baggage. Highly doubtful though due to high wages and him being captain.

I for one wouldn't want him anywhere near Ewood.. not even serving from one of those hot-dog stands on Bolton Road!!!!

A little bird on another site reckons Grella could be going to our chums down the road ( B-----y ) on loan ! Yippee, Yippee. Now that is good news. I suppose we'll need the treatment room table for Santa Cruz.
