According to nicko the "end of season" means until end of June. I guess it's the point where the season changes from 2010-11 to 2011-12.

I can point out that a loan in other leagues ends 1st week in May, hence clubs in the play offs have to return players to their clubs or ask for an extension to the loan period.

What about Daniel Agger... he is solid and from what I remember he is actually a relatively good player (maybe not this season) but worth a risk?

But say's an Italian and Spanish club are favourites.

Stand to be corrected but Jones doesn't appear to be a Kentaro/SEM client so I doubt he will be joining Rovers.

Well I mean what a lot of fuss, seb larrson is not bad at all but expectations have been raised pretty high.

Make you wonder what's going on,behind the scenes

Neither is Roque... But don't let that stop you.

Perhaps it's just the matter of the "List" that was agreed? Should imagine that Seb was on Kean's list.

Suppose there would have to be one exception!! Kean, Jenson, Blackman, Larsson, 75% is quite a large proportion!

And Santa is a loan, not a contract signing!

Can't see why else he would choose rovers over Sunderland and Newcastle.

Just have a quick look at Premier League history, and you will see that any player is guaranteed a more successful time at Rovers than either of those clubs...

And your club for that matter.

Charlie Adams price will only be higher in summer, in my opinion.

In the summer, Blackpool will have a renewed Premiership contract. That's 20m, and Charlie is their captain. In addition to that, his contract expiry is by that time only twelve months away.

Not really inspired by our signings so far, but I'll try to be patient until the end of the window.

That 5th place is looking nailed-on right now.

If we get Larsson, RSC, Adam and Jones all in, 8th is perfectly achievable and puts us in a position to kick on for the top 6 next season.

Give over! You're having a laugh.

We're not certain to get Adam, and Jones I know nothing about.

But in any case, there's still over half the window left. I'm trying not to give in to pessimism, so I will just wait and see. There's more deals done at the end than at the beginning, I guess.

I really cannot understand the pessimism. Do you not remember the last few years?

We didn't sign anyone of note. This is an improvement and it's not even over yet.

Seb Larrson would be a great signing for us, as a free signing. Also as long as we don't stop Olsson and Hoilett cming through and playing in the team.

He can supply the crosses for the strikers to score them. Would it not be better to sign him now and let him supply the chances for RSC to score. just a thought!

When Nicko foreshadowed a "controversial" 11 o'clocker, why do you think put it that way? Because we don't need him and he comes from the Kentaro/SEM stable!

Sure he takes a great free-kick but he does nothing Pedersen can't do. We can only take one free-kick at a time. With Diouf/Olssen/Hoilett we are OK on the flanks.

He's just an average Premier League player, no more. Meanwhile we are very poor in central mid-field. So why sign him? Has to be the client connection imo.

And OK I know its not the end of January yet-----but it soon will be!

Is he or is he not in the last six months of his contract so free to sign a pre-contract deal?

No - The Bosman rule states he is free to negotiate a new contract at the end of his deal...the rules agreed by FIFA are that he is free to sign a pre-contract for another club in another league, not the premier league with 6 months or less left on his deal.

Says who? Pienaar and Spurs are widely regarded to have agreed terms. I thought from January 1, all June Bosmans can speak to everyone.

No - only to teams in different leagues. Hence why nothing is public on Pienaar. Hence the 'told pals' line by Larsson.

Only if he is leaving the League association that he is currently playing in, i.e. moving abroad or even Scotland.

On the money brian!

We haven't signed anyone of note so far, either.

I bet the agents fee you are paying is massive to secure Larsson, not to mention his wages. Can't see why else he would choose rovers over Sunderland and Newcastle.

I guarantee he will be on a lot less than your new, competent left back

Its optimistic for sure but we are 10th now. If we do properly strengthen in this window we are in a decent position to finish top 8. In regards to strengthening I think RSC is definitely a good start.

Too much bloody doom and gloom around here. We are in tenth, we are getting players in, Keen seems to know what he is doing and a number of teams around us are not spending this window.

We haven't signed anyone so far period. Not to take anything away from nicko, but how many deals the press has "confirmed" in this window versus the amount of really confirmed transfers. Santa Cruz seems pretty darn close, but there's nothing but speculation about the rest.
