[Archived] Transfer Window Part 3

To the conspiracy theorists –

SERIOUS QUESTION – Is there any more active/ busy teams in the prem out there right now??

We can be as active as we want, however for some, the question will remain, how are we funding any loan deals/purchases?

Plunkett LT - Roque signed

About Adam. Can I assume that SEM may sign his rights up and thus fund the deal and be due any transfer fee in the future? Or is that not allowed in the PL?

I think you're talking about third party ownership, which is banned in the Prem after the Tevez/Mascherano fiasco. Also, where did this come from? You're only going to start baseless rumours among the more melodramatic posters.

We've signed one (1) player as has many others. I'm sure other teams have a bunch of rumored signings in the pipeline too.

 So thats all we have been up to eh??

What about....

  • Manager & Assistant out - Manager in - Followed by Assistant this week
  • Judge, Marrow out on permanent deals
  • Liganzi & Blackman out on loans
  • Blackman new contract

  • Larsson has "told pals" he's coming here ;)
  • Another player incoming and at Brockhall today

"In the pipeline"

  • Barca kid Rochina on his way for £1m
  • Negotiating with Blackpool about Adam

Oh and lets not forget "ALL the players are unhappy" :o

.....yet we now know Robbo, Nelsen, Roberts & Salgado all want to commit to Rovers for longer....and Hoilett & Olsson have both spoken how happy they are now they can play with freedom again!!

Back- and boardroom turmoil and cutting/loaning youngsters, correct ;)

I'm just not into counting my chickens before they hatch. Once Jones, Larsson, Adam, Barca kid and whoever we're now rumored to be signing are confirmed by rovers.co.uk, I'll rejoice :)

Jermaine Jones is here.

Expect that to be confirmed as a deal at some stage today.

Background details - as I have them - later.

Significant on a few fronts.

Can I get back to may day job please?

[Feeling magnanimous] Sure. :P But check back here frequently. ;)

I wouldn't bother calling him a cultured midfielder just yet, before anyone tries:

Jones courted controversy in 2004 for an interview for popular sports magazine Sport-BILD. When asked whether there were gay footballers in the Bundesliga, he said "hopefully not."

Oh dear, the deal might be off when he meets Pedersen!

Larsson and Jones on top of Santa Cruz and Rochina?

It would have to represent the best single transfer window we've had in years, wouldn't it?

Every single one of those improves our first team, with the exception of Rochina who is coming in as young talent anyway.

Its all work though mate - and all takes up time....Just give them time to tie up everything & then lets see what squad that leaves us with.

Lets not forget under the trust we could probably have looked forward to 1 loan, had we removed 1 players wages 1st.

This sudden interest in all the Barca B players I find quite interesting if all true.

OK they would have a lot to prove but there is no doubt the potential is there. Mixed in with a few established signings could be a really good move.

Rochina, Romleu and Vasquez the later being the oldest at 23.

Are these not the sort of signings that we were looking for, initial outlay should be minimal in today's market place, with the potential of huge profit down the line. Not saying they will be of Fabregas quality but even if they are half as good would certainly benefit the team and help balancing the books in the future.
