A quite clever post really. When the toot sniffer dosnt arrive you can pretend to be pleased really and not have to perform a trade mark flip flop.

You also "understand" that Manyoo are going bust. When's that happening btw?

Do you realise your posts have become as predictable, and irritating, as those you criticise from members you clearly dislike? It seems you are the one with the agenda and not those who you harass at every opportunity.

Fair enough, you've rumbled me, I do have an agenda. My agenda is to keep responding to those who constantly scare monger and post negative statements as fact using phrases like "my contacts", "cant reveal my sources" and "it's my understanding". I wouldn't post the stuff that you dont like if some individuals would put up or shut up.

I havn't really got an opinion yet about the new owners aside from my belief that they have made a poor decision about the manager and are clearly naive when it comes to communicating with the media and fans. Other than that I think that some of the stuff being posted by some on here is out of order and I will continue to say so unless/until banned.

It's an open forum and my understanding that it dosn't belong to any particular individual so I will continue to critisice those who I believe are scare mongering in the pursuit of individual agendas. The fact that I've had the nerve to respond to you will no doubt bring out your pals in the clique and I will probably be invited to go over to Roversmad as I havn't been on here for the last 10 years. Whatever.

I post 4 or 5 times a day max so the ignore facility will work with me. Fill your boots

I understand that if Balaji gets his way, you will be disappointed.

Maradona comes to a PL club in February

...and Mrs D comes to a PL club in February

We are both on the same side here Bucky in hoping Maradona makes demands Kentaro cannot live with.

I'll assume, seeing as you didn't address it correctly, that my reading of your reply beforehand was correct.

Kentaro clearly want some sort of 'name' to go with the club. The conjecture above is based on that and two people being in the same country in the same month, though there appears to be no indication as to when exactly Maradona made his comment about coming over in February, best I can tell. I'm not convinced it isn't old news personally.

However, other fears posted on this messageboard would include a) agents running the club and bringing in stooge players and B) they don't actually have any real money to spend.

Would you not agree that both of those would seem incompatible with Maradona who strikes me as a chequebook manager if I ever saw one and the last person, I imagine, who's going to be taking advice on players or having them forced on him by people he doesn't know?

Ronaldinho signing for us was probably more likely.

I'd welcome Maradona... as for the hand of god thing, what's that got to do with BRFC?

If other fans boo etc then surely that will pump us up even more to shove it back down their throats!

I think he could be a good manager for us... why not?

:brfc:

Sorry, but you would not say that if you went through the agony of watching it at the time.

It may not be directly linked to BRFCS but no english supported should ever forget what that robbing cheating @#/? did to England in '86.

Frankly I think it would be appaling if this person was installed as our manager.

Venkys, NO!!!!!

Team------------ Nat ------------ From--------------To----------------Record

------------------------------------------------------------------------- G W L D Win %

Mandiyú de Corrientes---Argentina-------1994------------------------------12 1 6 5 8.33

Racing Club-------------Argentina-------1995------------------------------11 2 6 3 18.18

Argentina---------------Argentina-------November 2008---July 2010---------19 14 5 0 73.68

His club record is hardly brilliant and a repeat of his previous efforts would probably see the team who appoints him relegated and probably paying off the remainder of his contract. Id rather have Steve Kean purely on the basis of we don't know what his management will bring. Maradona has form to rival Ince at club level.

Is there any foundation whatsoever for this latest round of Venky's bashing other than Maradona maybe visiting the UK in February and Mrs. D. maybe visiting the UK in February?

I don't know, hope not because I want them to be good owners with good intentions like every other fan. However if Maradona was presented or touted as the next boss at any club, especially Rovers, I think any sane person would question the sanity of those involved in such a move due to his very very poor managerial record at club level. I do think the silliness with regards to management is over with now, Steve Kean is the boss and regardless of what people think of the Sam sacking he should get our support a further change would annoy a lot of people, especially if it was Maradonna which imo would be an insult to the very core of the game with Rovers being at the forefront of the evoloution of the professional game.

If however Venkys want the photo op, give him a xxxxxxxxxxxxxl shirt (away so no one notices as much) a football and a beach in South America somewhere and get him to do some keepy uppy in front of the press. Just keep him away from Ewood and English football in general he is only narrowly pipped by Gazza in the "Im too stupid to realise I have a talent no one else has so Im going to mess it up by drinking/doing drugs" stake by the fact he won the World Cup and has kind of sorted himself out abit and doesn't need to hang out with maniac murderers.

sorry guys that was a ###### up rant lol

With PAPR handling the PR I doubt we are going to be made to look as ridiculous again but yes, Rovers are chasing Maradona and Maradona fancies being in complete charge as the Manager of a PL club.

That is as far as things were a few days ago.

You've stated this as fact. Is there any evidence to back that up?

He fancies being in charge of a club where the agents decide what players he can have does he? Doesn't sound like Maradona to me.

The one reported quote of his;-

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3341834/Blackburn-in-frame-as-Diego-Maradona-says-Premier-League-club-wants-me.html

"In February I am going to England to listen to a firm offer. If they convince me, I may take it up. I am not desperate. I know that some day I will coach another team

Gagging for it, clearly.

I don't put it past Venky's to use their Ronaldinho pennies in an effort to try and attach his name to the club somehow. Ceremonial Director of Football perhaps. But in charge? Would directly contradict the current SEM conspiracy as I can't see him accepting it. They can't both be true.

In your opinion;-

Would Maradona want whatever we're offering him? He doesn't sound that keen.

Would he be willing to take what we're offering and not have full control over the playing squad?

That's what i'm hanging all my hopes on.

Can't go into it, but you wouldn't believe the lengths to get him.

He needs to turn us down. Please.

Ronaldinho was real

Beckham was real

Maradona is real.

Eventually Balaji will hit the jackpot and spend his showbiz wallet.

I don't give a damn whether certain posters believe me or not, there is no "if" about the pursuit of Maradona.

Yes but as what? The manager? Does he want the job? Your post above would indicate that he does.

Why not just expose what you know? You can do it perfectly anonymously and protect your sources.

16.5/1 is a very good bet...

Do you wanted him as manager? He was crap as manager of Argentina and only just got them to the WC finals! Had one of the best squad in the finlas and did nothing!

I think he was being sarcastic Chaddy.
