They are playing it exactly like I play football manager. Buy loads if promising youngsters and eventually you strike gold.

This is a good business model to follow with little financial risk. You just need the initial, relatively small outlay (which we didn't have previously)

Totally agree Exactly how I play it too....identify the key skill you want, like pace or whatever and then sign the youngest, fastest players and sign them up for next to nothing....they fail - they might make lower leagues and earn a fee...or they may be a success.
