Perhaps simply misinformed?

It's seemingly impossible to know whether something is nailed on until the player in question is pictured holding a Rovers top.

Have we got a picture of J.Jones with his lovely new shirt yet?

This is actually entertaining for once, I'm enjoying being linked to promising youngsters from overseas.

Just feel we need one creative player along with Jones and RSC to be our best window in years.

They are playing it exactly like I play football manager. Buy loads if promising youngsters and eventually you strike gold.

This is a good business model to follow with little financial risk. You just need the initial, relatively small outlay (which we didn't have previously)

Totally agree  Exactly how I play it too....identify the key skill you want, like pace or whatever and then sign the youngest, fastest players and sign them up for next to nothing....they fail - they might make lower leagues and earn a fee...or they may be a success.

The journo posting that we've signed Formica is now posting messages with an 'if' in addition to the 'when' he was posting earlier.

Pinch of salt?

I love transfer windows.

A transfer window is when blokes I have never heard of become absolutely nailed on necessities to sign for my club!

I don't know how I've ever lived without Formica..... That's a sentence I never thought I'd say

Don't forget about Villanueva!

Nicko, could it be Rogelio Funes Mori?

A lot of european clubs want him

19 year old striker, highly rated, Argentinian under 20 international.

Never, I enjoyed having him here he was a joy to watch at times he just wasn't quite up to the premier league pace.

Nothing saying these guys wouldn't be though

Signing a young South American would certainly tie in with this -

"In the long term, the Rao family would like to recruit and develop young players from Brazil and Argentina - as well as locally - and Kean's linguistic skills are a small contributory factor to his permanent appointment. He speaks several languages, including fluent Portuguese."

I wonder what transfer windows were like pre youtube.

They didn't exist! Ahhh the days when you could buy anyone, anytime, whenever you wanted, and pre-internet when you only found out a player had signed when you saw it on the news or in the local rag.
