This Formica story is odder than odd.

No idea why Red Star Belgrade would take the player and loan him to Rovers.

The only 'football' reason for doing the Formica deal this way is to see if he settles in England...a lot of talented Argies have come and flopped.

Whether we actually sign a "big name" player is one thing, but thus far, this transfer window has been great.

Santa Cruz and Jermaine Jones are players that are, on paper at least, much better than the options(or the lack of it)we already had.

If we can nail Larsson for a fee below 1 million, as indicated by the media, it would be a significant coup.

Now the priority would be to get a playmaker, which hopefully will be the "big name signing" unveiled tonight.

But do you guys reckon we will sign a left back before the window shuts?
