thats killed the excitement...something average like tuncay then i guess, hell of a step down from previous expectations

Hang on, he said he is good, but not Messi good. That basically means it could be any other footballer in the world. Tuncay is not Marquee by any stretch of the imagination.

My guess is that Kamy colaberated with a print journo that needs the 11pm print deadline? Maybe he IS a print journo ? Maybe he just has a flair for the dramatic ? Maybe I misunderstood his message and we've actually resigned Ashley Ward. Who knows

Nobody else is Messi good. he is in a league of his own. Any player half as good with a proven pedigree will be a good signing. And I doubt it's Tuncay..

I'm staying grounded, if it were news we were signing Larsson, Rochina and Formica I'd be well pleased, would be a top windows work.

That's exactly what I was saying in response to BRFC1995 post, who was getting disapointed because Glenn said he is good but not Messi good.

Hm. I wonder if we've got the wrong end of the stick. Maybe its not a signing at all but a well-respected football man coming in as Director of Football to oversee Kean (e.g. not Maradonna).
