I am sat here half p1ssed, savouring the finest Cognac after a long tough day.

I sincerely hope that come 11 o'clock I will be overwhelmed and will have sufficient excuse to finish the bottle and get totally p1ssed.

Time to do some expectation-management. How can the news not disappoint right now? It'll be hard to stand the outpouring of displeasure if it turns out to be riquelme. Please remember that in case you find the news underwhelming and feel and unbearable urge to share this fact with the board, that Venkys are not the originators of the hype..

BIG news come 11 if the hype is to be believed. High probability it is regarding Riquelme although it has been tipped to be good news for all.. which Riquelme wouldn't be. Good player but not good news for ALL.

IF its riquelme, who in their right mind would think that was anything other than AMAZING for the rovers?????

i'd buy a season ticket and i live in london!!!

Riquelme is one of my all time favourite players. I'd love him to come to Rovers, despite the fact that he is not the player a few years ago.

It would be huge I agree... BUT (and it's a big but) due to the recently signed contract I guesstimate we will be paying well over the odds for a player of his age. I hope I'm proved wrong...

I agree, having seen riquelme play live for boca in april 2010 i was really impressed by his passing range (scored a cracker too!)

Unless there has been a dramatic change of performance i can’t see it being a bad thing him coming in.
