Why are you so personal ?

I rarely see you commenting on BRFC.

All you seem to do is have a go at certain MB users.

Suggest that you get a life and travel outside Oxford and SUPPORT the team you purport to.

More posts than you pal..I've also seen little evidence of you SUPPORTING your 'alleged'team.Everything seems to put you on a downer. If I were a more cynical person I'd half think you were a dingle troll,as alluded to by SomersetRover..

If this chap signs for red star, then is leased out to us, I'll be annoyed. We CANNOT "lease" a team of players each year. This guy is obviously cheap(ish) and worth a risk!

Is this not like Tevez and man utd, 3rd party ownership. So by us getting him on loan, say for 2 or 3 years, Would avoid that. Maybe i'm missing something.

I just can't get excited about this deal if it happens, the guy is almost 33 years old and has been plagued with injuries in recent years.

Before anyone labels me as a Riquelme hater that couldn't be further from the truth. I've been a huge fan of his over the years; he was an absolutely fantastic player and one of the finest playmakers of his generation.

I agree somewhat, but if he's motivated (as hopefully Kean will find out) he can still do a job for us. And I'm such a big fan that I don't care if his best years are behind him, he still has a big name and will attract attention to the club.

I don't think anyone would say much if we signed Beckham, even if that would only have been on a three month loan - he too has had injury problems and is actually older than JRR.

Funny how the "marquee" (sic) signings are going down a grade in class with each ludicrous name the Rao brothers have plucked out of their Charlie Buchan annual.

And here's another one forever blighted by his predictability.

Did you enjoy the last transfer window that much Jim..same question I asked Miseryman which he neglected to respond to.

Just because you were most controversial poster back in 1893 or whatever doesn't mean you have to seek the accolade every subsequent year you know!!

You're turning into a miserable old troll Jim,do you realise??

You are negative in every single post until you get pulled up on it and you start saying that you go to all the games.

Just because you say something doesn't make it true.

You AREN'T a Rovers fan, just an individual with WAY too much time on your hands.

Better than being a Claret as you once accused me!

No, not a fan but a supporter who goes to a lot of matches each season and has done so for many a year.

As for "WAY too much time on your hands" - how the hell can you comment on that when you haven't a clue what I do.

All I want is for my beloved club to be successful.

If any individual is pilloried for casting an individual opinion, which football is all about, then we might all as well pack-up.

I've been saying it for about two weeks. It's obvious. His excuse is "I go to games". Proof if ever I heard it. Not

There was a claret called Mercerboy (something like that) on here previously.

Surely by what was tweeted last night (investment company) and what NOB's president said today, then nicko confirming the deal is complicated and needs answers, Formica has to be third party ownership. IMO. :)

Exactly. We are getting around the Premier League regulations by entering an agreement with another European club.

What their motive is I'm not sure, but I bet we can all put forward a decent guess.

Finally you can't change an entire team every 6-12 months which looks to be Venkys loan plans, a good team needs time to gel this stratagy doesn't allow for that as does signing many players mid season. Theres nothing wrong with signing players on loan or signing players for that matter but there has to be balance that allows for time to change. If we sign too many players we risk having a team of individuals rather than a team fighting for the same cause on the same wavelengh, even one of the Rao's said that was important.

I can actually see some logic to the loan deals - provided a purchase fee has been agreed. People bang on about foreign players taking 6 months to adjust to the Prem. This way we bring 4-5 in, see which ones deliver/can hack it and then sign permanently in summer. If they can't cope physically they return to their club and we haven't wasted several million in transfer fees.

Yes but with the exception of Formica holding an Italian passport, Serbia are not due for election to the EU for a couple of years yet, so W/Permits will still have to be granted.

Allegedly RSB are penny less, interesting you could say and no doubt questions will be asked, and I'd be surprised if at least one company we know of are not behind it.

Riquelme's recent performance data:

Interesting stuff Oklahoma...

He's obviously not played that much this year, but the numbers of assists (and goals) are pretty impressive in recent years. With Jones hopefully kicking the stuffing out of anyone who tries to get near him, we may finally have some steel and creativity in midfield.

It sounds more hassle than it's worth if we signed Riquelme,Rochina,Vazquez i'd be absolutely delighted.

Riquelme is actually the name i mentioned in the marquee thread never believed it to be possible though.

Can we cut the bickering out please? It takes enough time to trawl through this thread as it is without reading more "you're a dingle", "I post more than you", "I've been a member longer than you" rubbish.

Maybe we could have a "bickering" thread in I can't believe it's not football?
