Any of it good news?

Don't think so..

From the swedish newspaper Expressen:

(google translate)

U-turn - "Seb" not for sale

Birmingham has been cross-waiting.

According to the newspaper people are now not even to Sebastian Larsson

Sale longer.

- It is a strange behavior, "said Svante Larsson father.

Birmingham's Sebastian Larsson has been the hottest Swedish name after the January window opening.

At first it was very close to a move to Newcastle - but the deal collapsed after the Newcastle and Larson could not agree on the personal contract.

Reported to be ready

During Wednesday reported goal.com to Birmingham and Blackburn instead agreed on a deal regarding the Swede. He would join Blackburn immediately - for a total of just over eight million.

"It has made at constant"

But now, the data suggest quite the other way. According to the newspaper people have Birmingham cross-waiting - and no longer want to sell the Swede.

- It has made at constant today, and it depends on Birmingham's turnaround, "said the father Svante Larsson folket.se.

The newspaper has Sebastian Larsson is also a result of cross turnaround submitted a transfer repuest, to get away from the club.

edit..newspaper people is mentioned, but it is a translation of folket.

Still on for this window or summer?

If he comes to us in the Summer it would be on a free. 500,000 for him now is a good offer under those circumstances..Hope he arrives before the transfer window closes.

Kean's interview with talksport basically confirms we should forget about seeing Riquelme or Adam in a rovers shirt.if Larsson or Formica don't sign then the words PR stunt will be rolled out again and rightfully so in my opinion.

I can answer that question quite easily. We aren't targeting players in teams who are in 4th/5th/6th position because they play for teams in 4th/5th/6th position and therefore won't want to join us.

We are limited to older, experienced players or younger players with potential.

It's why Man City can't sign Kaka/Messi/Ronaldo even though they can afford them.

Isn't that obvious?

No it isn't obvious. A Bentley loan for example would have satisfied anyone but we we were not interested.

Was thinking along those lines myself - well it rhymes with it anyway.

How is it a PR stunt if it hasn't come from Rovers?

The leaks have come from other agents.

Come off it Balaji Rao is his own worst enemy have you forgotten he promised a so called big name will be arriving at ewood very soon, his words not an agents.

Yes he has said that. But saying 'We want a marquee signing' is not the same as 'We want to buy Riquelme'. Its a Venky's PR moment if they come out and specify a big name and then fail to do anything in order to get that name. That is not what is happening here and isnt, by the sounds of things, what went on with Ronaldinho.
