[Archived] HTC Desire?

Recommended Posts

ok i know its about a year old, but ive settled for the Desire. Was this a good move, especially taking into consideration that new models are available. I haven't updated to 2.2 Froyo, but will that update make me feel better with the choice i have made?

I believe the music programs and gallery should just find them. I know gallery finds all my rotten icons from Mobile Maps which is annoying.

My Music is in My Documents/My Music which is a carry over from my WinMob days.

Are you sure the scard is being seen? If you go to Menu-> Settings -> SD & phone storage Do you see "Unmount SD card" and does it show the correct amount of Total and Free space under the SD Card section?

you can format through the phone, but you will lose all the data Android might have put on there (as it does cache a lot behind the scenes).

Go to Menu->Settings->SD & phone storage

tap "Unmount SD card" and wait a fair while until it does it. The "Format SD card" option should now be available. Once complete, tap the mount SD card again.

Of course now it will be blank :)
