steo Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Only the stats: He played 9 games, 559 minutes and scored 1 goal in his turkish club wasn't it only turkish 2nd div?i'd be happy with any permanent signings but Robbo must be kept.

B.R.F.C Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Cue dodgy Arry on Sky "Yer, he's a great keeper. Apples & Pears. Anyone would want him. Mince Pies. But he's under contract so we can't have him. Can we?" I absolutely loathe Spurs and I loathe Redknapp. I would love it, just love it, if Robbo turned round and told them to eff off Tea up my nose...brilliant. How I hate Redknapp Why would Robbo move back to Spuds? He left the club to avoid bench warming and he is settled now with us. I suspect agent talk to bump up the wage a bit perhaps?
Hekla Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 It would be interesting to see if he can settle here, he's only a young guy coming into a new country half way across the world. It would be better to hear from Sao Paulo fans themselves.
steo Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Chance of Champs league football could turn his head but hopefully he'll sign "lifetime" contract.
duffbear Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Nothing on there but looks like a real account....https://twitter.com/RonieliR9/favorites
greco Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Id be happy to let Diouf go....I think with the two speed merchants out wide + back up of Emerton, Mame, Dunn & Even MGP we can do without him & his big wages. agreed. let him go, save the wages and dont let a temperamental type rot too long, that could potentially cause some problems.

steo Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Does he have any chance of getting a work permit?
Hughesy Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Nothing on there but looks like a real account....https://twitter.com/RonieliR9/favorites Look at tweets rather than favs Translated..... "I thank everyone for their love, by force of all time, besides, of course, to thank Blackburn and the opportunity to SPFC" And another "At the airport, following p / England, for a period of practice at Blackburn, Premier League, a division of English football" One to the fans earlier today "God bless and thank you for the affection of all time! May God bless you too!"
Darwen Rover Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Out of interest how many years is a 'lifetime' contract??
braddock Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Out of interest how many years is a 'lifetime' contract?? *Waits for someone to make a 'wife' joke*
JoeBlueWhite Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Just seen this comment on a spurs messageboard "As for would he want to come back, I suspect he'd walk from Blackburn to WHL if he was offered the opportunity to return." Bulls*** The Spurs fans and management forced him out the door and almost broke him. They treated him like ######. He rebuilt himself here with the help of Mimms. I am sure he is just dying to rush back there.
Hughesy Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Robbo would be foolish to go back, they were only too happy to stick him on the rubbish heap when he was a broken man. No way could I see the attraction for him going back there, if anything id love to see him come out and say the grass isnt always greener at the bigger clubs.
vintageadidas Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 The best place to rebuild your career is at ewood! I would be gutted if he went but I believe we could find a suitable replacement! One of the only positions you can search in the lower leagues for! It is all about unearthing the talent! I always had a suspicion he loved spurs! Well te last two away games there I have been to he has waved at the spurs fans more than us! In his best form for years so no doubt he is being linked with bigger clubs!
Fife Rover Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 *Waits for someone to make a 'wife' joke* Dammit you spoilt my fun! I was just going to do one, but now I am going to sit in a corner and sulk until bed time.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 What i'm trying to say is... He could be the creative midfielder we have been looking for. Attacking mid is one of his best positions so he wouldn't be competing with Junior and Olsson. As far as having done nothing since, he hasn't had the chance! We could MAYBE get him on cheap but you know Redknapp. He would fit right into Steve Kean's vision i would say. Anyway, just throwing that one out there. I was impressed with him in the World Cup. Dos Santos or Larrson ?- no contest for me.
Exiled_Rover Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Out of interest how many years is a 'lifetime' contract?? Until you die or we find someone better.
BangkokRover Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Don't be fooled by world cup performances. Dos Santos was decent whilst on loan at Ipswich, but has done nothing since. I'd play Junior and Olsson above him anyday. Thank Goodness some sense about Dos Santos he is rubbish. Still worth a punt for a small fee. QPR paid £500K for Taraabt, I reckon £1.5m should be enough for dos Santos. He's still young and quite clearly has potential, as well as potential re-sale value. No again he is rubbish. Don't you think there is a reason he is playing the Chumpionship!
steo Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Dos Santos was absolutely class in the WC,how you can call him rubbish is beyond me,he also had a loan spell at Gala.he would be a great signing could play just behind Santa Cruz,he has pace skill and a very good shot the only thing questionable is his attitude.
BangkokRover Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Bring back Duffer ! He is past it, leave him where he is and leave us to remember the good old days. Dos Santos was absolutely class in the WC,how you can call him rubbish is beyond me,he also had a loan spell at Gala.he would be a great signing could play just behind Santa Cruz,he has pace skill and a very good shot the only thing questionable is his attitude. Of course he is pants. Sure he played well in the world cup but seriously since 2008 and joining Tottenham he has played 32 club games. Does that not tell you something?
steo Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Yeah it tells me Harry doesn't like his lifestyle,he's mentioned it a few times, look at the players that can't get a look in at spurs most would walk into our team.would you be against signing Kranjcar?

Kranjcar proved at Portsmouth he could handle the EPL. Santos hasnt proved didley squat.

So we know Dos Santos likes to party or is just plain trouble and we still want it, sorry but that does not make sense. Yes I would like Kranjcar but I do worry that Spuds will make up some crazy price for him. He is though certainly a good player and as someone else has mentioned he could be friend for Niko.

Agree totally on Krancjar, don't think Gio has even been linked with a move to ewood so no need to worry,if we can get Vazquez it will have been a successful transfer window.reckon Krancjar could go out on loan on deadline day.
