he is pretty good but isnt that good, he is having a good season, and like blackpool he will come down to earth with a bump, else why was he on the rangers scrap heap?

in twelve months he will still be at blackpool, who will be bottom 3, ens of contract, on his way to a club like us for a few quid, or warming the bench at liverpool, still good, just not that good.

if 5 million is what gets you a player, get krankjar (spelling???!!) in

The going has got tough and he's disappeared from the game.

Care to reconsider? :P

No. A swallow does not a summer make.

Besides, a match lasts 90 minutes. :P

But don't get me wrong. in my opinion, Adam is a good player and vital to Blackpool. He's not vital to anyone else. Blackpool's money demands are outrageous from the prospective buyers and Adam's perspective. From thier perspective, its probably justified but it stinks as it impliedly contradicts past statements from management and risks alienating the player and future players. IMO

I'm surprised no one is linked with Vaughan from Blackpool. He's extremely underrated and allows Adam to do his job without the worries of doing the 'dirty' work. He's got an excellent attitude, his work rate is superb and was brought through the Crewe Academy as well as playing under Coleman and Kean at Real Sociedad.

Indeed, totally anonymous the second half, probably cost them the game as he ducked away from the ball just before United's third.

Cracking passer of the ball but cant help feel he will fade away in another team with more class, not worth a penny more than 4 mill.

Vaughan is out of contract in the summer so he'd be available for peanuts, but I can't help feeling he's a bit too small for most Prem teams.

Do we think we are going to be able to keep hold of Samba? I also heard a rumour that Robinson could be going as well, don't know if there is any truth in it mind.

Stop it, just stop it now.

Dont you know we are riding the good bit of the Venky rollercoaster at present (I think  ) ;)

Perhaps our extra cash is being spent tying down our senior players? Roberts is apparently the next up. http://tribalfootball.com/articles/roberts-back-cold-offer-new-blackburn-deal-1408571

On the issue of Blackpool's Vaughn, he's 27 (almost 28) and Welsh. Unless its a "marquee" signing, the owners seem to be focusing on players under 24 and of Hispanic heritage. Probably part of their marketing scheme.

I personally wouldn't offer Roberts a new contract, it's not like he's an integral part of the team in any way.

Looks like the 11O'clockers are dying a slow death towards the end of the window. Dunn will surely get injured again before the end of the season, I think we need a replacement/understudy to him this window. One of each back can wait until the summer, though our squad can't cope with too many more injuries at the moment.

Didn't BPF refer to some good news a week or so ago, were they mainly signing new contracts and not signings?

Nicko in the Mirror:

Blackburn target £1m Barcelona kid

Blackburn boss Steve Kean is ready to sign Barcelona starlet Ruben Rochina – and make it a transfer double by snapping up Brazilian youngster Ronieli dos Santos.

Striker Rochina will join Rovers for a fee that could top £1million after telling Barca he would go to England anyway when his contract runs out in the summer.

Meanwhile, Rovers’ Indian owners are trying to tie up a deal for Sao Paolo striker Ronieli, who is viewed as a key long-term capture.

I agree - I would let Roberts go too.

No not contracts. One was Rochina - that appears to be happening as per Nicko's latest.
