only2garners Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 cant decide whether to drive or get train on saturday. was thinking of the train, but how far is the station from the ground. i have my little one and dont want to be having a long hike with her in tow It's about 15 minutes along the canal towpath. Fine for a fit adult but probably a long way for a little kid.

1864roverite Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Best bet, breezeblock junction then head over to Hindley via westhoughton and come down into the TC that way. 4 miles easy ride from the Oak pub.
JAL Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 I personally won't accept anything less than 3 points! Got to keep my positive impressions up of the new regime Sam, you seriously under estimate the opposition here, dont take anything for granted in this game, to do so is going to end in big, big, disappointment.
rebelmswar Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Sam, you seriously under estimate the opposition here, dont take anything for granted in this game, to do so is going to end in big, big, disappointment. Underestimations be damned. We need to grab them by the hairy ones and kick them in the arse. They are like a leaky bucket as far as defence is concerned, we need to utilize that instead of worrying about the back. Attack constantly and vicously. Use their guts as grease for the couplings on our bus and their shirts to bandage our wounds. We should leave DW Stadium a smoking ruin full of WAGS sobbing over their mens loss of masculinity. Resistance is futile.
rovgers Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Tickets for this game now sold out at 7.15pm, the person in front of me got the last 4! D'oh!
pick32 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 could be worse liverpool have six defenders in the starting 11, agger, skrtel, johnson, kelly, aureleio and that greek donkey.
Daremz Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 After tonights loss vs Tottenham 2 things are clear: We need to win. We need to play Kalinic over Robert. Always.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 25 minutes to go in the Spurs game.
Backroom Tom Posted February 2, 2011 Backroom Posted February 2, 2011 After tonights loss vs Tottenham 2 things are clear: We need to win. We need to play Kalinic over Robert. Always. To be fair we don't really need to win but it would be nice, we are still 7 points outside the relegation zone aren't we?
Backroom DE. Posted February 2, 2011 Backroom Posted February 2, 2011 7 points isn't as much as some people would like to believe. If we lose this one a few people who seem to already think we're safe could be in for a nasty surprise when they look at the table. Kalinic must start. Roberts benched, please. N'Zonzi or even Grella must start ahead of Andrews. Formica hopefully to debut. Got a bad feeling about this one. Hopefully we can pull out a result.
Stevo Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 --- --- --- Robbo --- --- --- Salgado Samba Nelsen Givet --- --- --- Jones --- --- --- Hoillet --- Dunn --- Olsson --- --- Diouf Kalinic --- --- Three points if we play that formation.
Bobby G Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Olsson has been excellent at left back in this new formation. I would hope that Niko starts and that Formica is at least in the squad. Pretty sure Jones will miss out, then Emo's legs in midfield would be useful. MGP for Andrews FOR CERTAIN.
only2garners Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I would hope that Niko starts and that Formica is at least in the squad. Somewhat unlikely given Kean's comments last night that both Formica and Rochina are 2/3 weeks away from being ready. Formica hasn't played for 5 weeks.
romeington Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I've tried sending you a message but can't do for whatever reason. Is this still up for grabs then? I'll be at the match tonight as well. If you let me know I'll send you my mobile number. Cheers man. Sorry had issues with my computer too. It is still here if you want it i can post it next day delivery and you will have it tomorow if you still want it? I will send it from work so it doesnt cost anything to send. Let me Know asap £5 Anyone got a spare in block NS3 I could buy of them? Could do with an extra. I'm in row F but not too worried if the other seat isnt too close. Ticket office have sold out that block now and are selling the seats 2 blocks away. Hi its in NS3 do you want it?
Bobby G Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Didnt find his comments so I guess I stand corrected. So none of our January signings will be available in the next couple of weeks at the very least. Unless Jones is back involved sooner than it looked with his back injury.
aXept Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 --- --- --- Robbo --- --- --- Salgado Samba Nelsen Givet --- --- --- Jones --- --- --- Hoillet --- Dunn --- Olsson --- --- Diouf Kalinic --- --- Three points if we play that formation. Totally agree with that! Anyway, I hope he doesn't use either Roberts or Andrews... I wish Formica is in the squad for this match, probably not, but it would be great to give him some time at the end of the match when we lead 3-0
Mattyblue Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Really looking forward to this. Got to the ticket office just as the sold out signs went up, scrambled a ticket with a coach of Darreners, phew!
cloggyjimmybrfc Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 in hindsight I would have brought warnock back to cover givet if injured...as we need.olsson running freely down the left...hoillett and olsson attacking freely would make us more urgent attacking.last night we were painfully slow.....
Guest Walshy Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Saturday is going to be quality, we will out sing the Wigan fans 10 fold and I hope we can get all 3 points as well.

Ozz Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 "Tickets for Saturday's game against Wigan are close to selling out." Kean hopeful J Jones fit for Saturday
Mattyblue Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 "Tickets for Saturday's game against Wigan are close to selling out." Kean hopeful J Jones fit for Saturday What's that about? I even asked the girl at the ticket office for one on its own.
Claytons Left Boot Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Good to see we've sold out. Rovers website says 4500 ticket allocation although there are 5392 seats in the North Stand plus a further 21 disabled places. Even allowing for a bit of segregation, I think anyone wanting to buy on the day would be let in.
