Still lots of tickets left in stand close to Rovers end....the one to the right(Main Stand).

My mates going there...so should be lots of extras. Wigan site is open to outside sales.

Thanks for the ticket offers guys but I'm all sorted now as one person has dropped out so it's just the 12 of us now.

1 rovers fan, 4 Liverpool fans, 1 Man United fan, 1 Man City Fan, 1 Nottingham Forest Fan, 1 Villa fan, 1 Spurs fan, 1 Leeds fan and a Hereford fan.

I'm not sure they know what they've let themselves in for lol.

7 points isn't as much as some people would like to believe. If we lose this one a few people who seem to already think we're safe could be in for a nasty surprise when they look at the table.

Kalinic must start. Roberts benched, please. N'Zonzi or even Grella must start ahead of Andrews. Formica hopefully to debut.

Got a bad feeling about this one. Hopefully we can pull out a result.

eh?

"N'Zonzi or even Grella must start ahead of Andrews"

they are both unfit and probably not much better then Andrews at the moment, but I still agree, as Andrews is bad for morale with the fans reactions.

I suggest bringing him on if we are winning, last 15 minutes, he might get some support.

Lesson learnt I hope Mr Kean.

What's that about?

I even asked the girl at the ticket office for one on its own.

I asked last night and got told there weren't any left. It might be that Wigan have increased the allocation or they were holding some back.

RE Pubs before the match. I think I will be drinking some German and Belgium beer in The Anvil, which is right next to Bus station. Also not too bad is The Swann And Railway , last pub at the bottom of Wallgate, about five minutes from bus station.

Ffs, how long has pointy Andrews been out for? Formica hasnt played for 5 weeks, so add the extra 3 weeks and that will be 8 weeks. Throw him in i say, as he cant be any worse than Andrews.

Last time I went there they had Kolsch on too-great memories from Koln. Anybody wanna join us there, could be an unoffical messageboard meeting up point?

HOILETT - DUNN - J. JONES - OLSSON

KALINIC - M. DIOUF

The diamond midfield has failed twice now not least because of bad picks of players to perform in positions they are not best suited to. Wigan are uniquely well suited with players to exploit the weaknesses inherent in the way we are playing currently.

I had been confident about taking three points but based on last night I could see us losing this one now.

Robbo

Hoilett N'Zonzi Jones Olsson

Kalinic Diouf

Formica (even just for the experience) on the bench.

Nice, although I imagine a few Rovers fans who couldn't get tickets are a bit bitter all those clubs supporters are in

So that is based on us creating chance after chance against the team that finished fourth last year - and is currently fourth ? Forget the southern press myth about injury crisis - they weren't far off a full side last night - only Bale may have made a significant difference.

Providing Givet is fit - and Olsson moved up to left wing - I can see us getting a result out of this.

Agree about Formica - let him experience EPL from the bench. At least when Dunn tires we may have an attacking midfield player to bring on in the last 10 minutes (oh how we could have done with a fully fit attacking midfield player for last night to replace Dunn when he tired)

Because we played so poorly last night against a team below Wigan's standards?

Must win game.

Nope, we are 7 points away from the relegation zone not 7 points astray, a win would be great but it isn't nearly that crucial yet we are 9th FFS

I know its sold out, does anyone know how i could get a ticket?? have we been given more seats? can i pay on the day?

cheers for any help.

Must win game.

Absolutely right if only for the manager who after a poor sequence of results needs a good win to show his methods are working and that the players believe in what he is trying to do. Although Rovers could be said to have been unlucky to lose to Spurs Kean again showed the tactical inflexibility that has characterised his teams so far. A good win will help to silence the doubters but a defeat and the knives will start to sharpen among supporters who think he should not be in the job in the first place never mind sitting on a fat 3-year contract.
