Agree with that. 17 shots 9 on target to spurs 6. Unlucky tonight. But much to be positive about.

No it's ok though because the BBC has our possession down as 44 for us and 56 for them, someone should really hand the Statistician's a piece of paper telling them that we dont play long ball football anymore and they can update their stats accordingly.

It's the same old rubbish as it was before, Rovers play well and get no credit or result but under Sam we played terrible football which they used to slaughter us about and get a result which we did'nt deserve.

Rovers just cant win against teams like Spuds in more ways than one.

I think my tenure in the Blackburn End is done, I'll be moving next season. The treatment of Andrews by some tonight was nothing short of disgusting IMO almist akin to schoolyard bullying.

The worst of it is just how clueless some people are, tonight at one time he held Lennon up then showed him outside, absolutley the right thing to do - yet people booed because he didn't jump into a tackle. I can't believe our own fans booed a player for going to take a free kick on the halfway line as well.

On to the game I thought we played as well as we have done recently it was just one of those nights, one mistake and we were out of it, you just know that same header at the other end would have been saved by Gomes tonight as well.

The subs were a neccessity as Jones looked like he could pick up another yellow and Dunn was knackered, the only thing I would have done differently is bring Niko on the Andrews and shift Mame Diouf out left.

Some great efforts tonight we just came across a keeper on fire throughout.

I thought the ref was shockingly bad in his refusal to book Spurs players for blatant yellow cards.

The worst player by far was dunn. We had a second rate Andrews trying to cover for him and thus looking third rate.

Really? Did you watch the same game I did?

On the web or at the match? Because seeing Keith live is something else. You also get to see all his brilliant runs off the ball, not to mention his brilliant positional sense.

While im not andrews biggest fan.I dont think anyone should be booed...only makes the chap even more reluctant to try a through ball to a striker and just pass it sideways..But I dont see how he can be starting games straight away after being injured for so long meself

Not going to blame Andrews for being picked. We all know he's not good enough, but for whatever reason both Kean and Allardyce pick him whenever he's fit. Baffling to everyone, but Andrews does seem to try his hardest when he's on the pitch, and he doesn't deserve to be boo'd. Out of order and pathetic.

As for Roberts... a new contract. What has he ever done to earn that? He's not a 90-minute player. He never has been for us, and he never will be. He has a few good super sub performances and people seem to forget his previous form and clamour for him to start. Then he begins starting games and inevitably returns to being utter crap. Repeat for pretty much the entirety of his Rovers career. If Venky's have as much money to invest as they suggest then signing mediocre players like Roberts to contracts at his age and with his poor record it just poor business and a mistake. Very disappointed that we're going to see him plodding around in a Rovers shirt for the foreseeable future.

Why didn't Kalinic get any time tonight? Unless he's injured, it's a very, very poor decision not to have him come on at all. Saying that, our subs were poor again, and it looks like this is Kean's major weak point. His subs either seem to weaken us or not improve us at all. Once again they were ineffective today.

Can't fault the effort from the team, but I can't be happy with what I've seen tonight. Just frustrated, angry and disappointed. If we can play that well and lose we should be worried how we're going to fare when we play less well. We cannot rely on Santa Cruz and with Kalinic seemingly perpetually out of favour I do worry where the goals in this team are going to come from. One thing's for sure, it won't be from Roberts.

First of all booing andrews is a disgrace!(Even if one is terrible they are still our player regardless of who it is)

Unlucky not to get a point tonight, gomes made some good saves for our better chances.

Regarding our amount of shots only a few were good chances, probably the same amount as spurs!

Robbo pulled of some good saves aswell!

Still not sure about jones, while putting in some good harassment on the opposition in the last two he was a bit off the pace a few times tonight!

Hopefully that will improve with games!

Ollson and Jr were promising as always!

Very open game but saying that spurs walked through our midfield tonight!attacking football is all well and good but that was just to easy at this standard!

Dunny played well in the first half!

I thought that game was crying out for niko!

Hopefully we can get a result against wigan!Hopefully!

I was there. He wasn't great but he was doing all of fatties graft who was busy lauding up being blue and white. We improved when dunn left vastly

The fact that so many people differ on whether Andrews Dunn or Jones was crap and we all watched the match is kind of interesting. Andrews is tarnished with the Ince brush, but the fact that three Blackburn managers and one international manager have picked him must count for something.

We are looking for him to make mistakes and we ignore glaring errors from other players. What I do know is that I cant remember a player of my own team being booed on the pitch as a motivation to make him play better. It doesnt make sense.

I wonder how crap he would have been if he had scored with the last kick of the match. I would have luvved it if that happened, really luvved it.

Booing yourown players is bad butnot as bad as Andrews is at football. Its actually scary how bad he is. Hoilett is in need of a new contract asap and if I was Niko I would be asking questions. I hope Formica and Rochina are the real deal.

Andrews morale must be absolutely zilch right now.. he gives 100% when he plays, he can't do anything more than that. It's absolutely disgraceful, people boo him before he even has chance to do anything with the ball!

PATHETIC LITTLE B......

Just got back. Thought we were unlucky to not get a draw from the game tbh.

Hoilett MOM by miles, Dunn played well too but other than that it was hard to pick out anyone who stood out positively.

Think Kean made some errors today though. Firstly the starting line-up; Roberts is nowhere near good enough to be starting games - his first touch is a pass, he offers pretty much no goal threat, and he should be strictly limited to 10-15 minute cameos when we need someone to come on and bully tiring defenders. At best he's our 4th choice striker if everyone's fit. And as for Andrews - good Lord, I'd forgotten how utter dog ###### he is - looks completely out of his depth, and mentally he's way too slow for the Premier League. Jason Lowe - at age 19 and with 2 or 3 games - already looks a better Premier League player, and I've been critical of MGP's recent form but he's miles ahead of Keith too.

Also, I would hope the subs were injury forced, because the first two at least were astonishingly bad. Jones hadn't been quite as good as his debut, and Dunny was perhaps tiring, but both were still far more influential in the game and streets ahead of Andrews. Having said that, singling out any player for booing is out of order - not good to hear that.

Oh well, on to the JJB. Please Keano, don't handicap us from the start by picking KA!! :tu:

Were you at the game tonight? Andrews was his usual standard for most of the game with Dunn was doing all the work. When Dunn went off the game just passed him by. Possibly a reaction to the crowd but he looked like a rabbit in the headlights.

1) He us not good enough at this level

2) He never will be

3) His appearance in a Rovers shirt sets fans at odds with each other. Literally people arguing. That cannot be a good thing.

4) Had he not been Paul Ince's mate he wouldn't be anywhere near a Premier League club. Can anyone think of any current league 2 players who they'd like Venkys to go out and buy?

5) We have been on a great run until the last 2 games.

6) He needs to go out on loan to a Championship club for the sake of himself, BRFC and the fans.

A Keith Andrews love in NOT.

I sat and contemplated as I watched the game

Wondering why Keith game was so lame.

A pointed finger, a little dance,

His aimless runs left me in a trance.

He runs a lot and sometimes shouts,

But a footballing brain he is without.

I pondered and queried asking what does he bring

To my beloved Rovers as part of the team.

Despite searching my soul, my heart and my head,

I can find nothing positive to add to this thread.

Rovers have lost yet again when he plays,

Us fans are praying for the end of his days,

In a Rovers shirt we want him no more,

He most certainly will not go down in Ewood folklore.

No worser player have I ever had sight

In my clubs famous halves of Blue and White.

So please Venky's, Mrs Desai and Steve Kean,

Give him away and keep him out of our team.

Keith Lovers, Keith Andrews, Sam and Trappa I would love to know what you lot ever see in him. The man is headless, brainless and useless all rolled into one. I will not ever tolerate this chap in my clubs colours again such are his inane performances in a blue and white shirt. Granted he is consistent, but consistently poor is simply not good enough. The management have to realise he is a poor championship player at best, a drain on our resources, he weakens the team and he hasnt got a bloody clue about his own position or what he is supposed to bring to the team.

as for the game, due to us only playig with 10 men we lost it. wrong game set up from the off and we gave Spurs far too much ball because we were a midfielder light all the time.

Does anyone can Formica score from free kicks? It would make a huge difference. Why Corluka wasn´t sent off? He did have a yellow but it was most obvious bookings when he brought down Junior just outside of the box. The following free kicks brought my mind the question if Formica could deliver these any better.

^^ what that man said.

I witnessed Keith Andrews live today. I have given him as many let offs as I can - I am now 100% adamant he is the worst central midfielder in the club, in the 10 worst in the premierleague and does absolutely NOTHING when he plays. He can't tackle, can't attack.

Dunn is miles away from being fit enough to play, he looked nackered after 10 minutes.

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. You wouldn't happen to be in one of those obscured seats would you? Or carry a white stick?

I saw the complete opposite of what you saw.

I almost destroyed my TV when Roberts tried that backheel. Absolutely crappety crap crap!

Roberts is OK at times but he drives me insane when in the box he reverses into a player in the hope of a foul rather than going for the ball.

Got to say Pedersen looked good when he came on, got some great tackles in, wish we waited a second to take that corner on the end so Robbo could have got into the box.

Had to laugh when I saw Tom Finn carrying a huge pile of blankets for the Venkys lot.

I would like to see one of the new lads on the bench at weekend just as an unknown quantity to throw on and worry Wigan.

On Dunn he looked great in the first half then totally vanished once he got tired, he had to come off.
