Van the Man plays just off the forwards so that will be JJ's area of the pitch. he needs to go through him early on (cleanly) so Mr Vaaaaaart will always have him in the back of his mind and not hold onto the ball for too long thus resulting in him not being as creative as he likes

I hate games where we 'should win this' because the other side is weakened. They inevitably get the better of us... I'm hoping that's not the case tonight.

Whatever spurs team is out tonight it's probably cost 20 times as much as ours...

Gallas is a major doubt apparently.

Really hope so.

I was at the WHL when we lost 1-0 under Paul Ince.

I was 100 percent sure that Olssons career was dead after that match..

I was there too. He just couldn't handle him. I still don't see why we didnt change setup, it was painfully obvious Lennon had the beating of him everytime.

Anyway, I think Olsson has developed since then (although maybe not as a full back) and Lennon was in really good form at the time from memory.

3-2 Rovers. Samba injury time winner to celebrate the new deal.

If Woodgate does start we should play Spit Jr and Mr. Itchy off his shoulder intermittently. Skin him and make him make some rash tackles. Try and get his ass booked early and in fear of his nuts and a sending off.

That would work nicely.

Kean has basically said we're going to play the 'try to score more than the opposition and don't bother defending' game.

Yaaaay, I like Kean.

If we loose massively I am sure that he will be reviled, if we win he will be praised.

I always have been a fan of "have a go" football.
