Don't wait up, Icers!

I dont think that will happen Jisty, ill be up untill the last minute. Its one of those things, where you say you wont bother, but ultimately you end up looking every 5 minutes, and hitting F5 every minute :P

Jerome Anderson just been on talksport. Seems like he was driving upto Rovers. Very interesting interview, talked about the market in general.

At the end of the interview he was asked about Rovers, he said that the new owners want to take the club forward, Kean is a very good manager and most interestingly said in the next few hours you could see some “interesting” activity at Rovers. He also said that Kean looking to play attractive football.

But I prefer action rather than words

It's already a damned site more interesting than previous windows already!

Jerome Anderson just been on talksport. Seems like he was driving upto Rovers. Very interesting interview, talked about the market in general.

Excellent - get ready to deal with a slow moving site today/tonight ! if it starts grindign again, can you keep it members only, as like Iceman said, there will be many twitchy F5 fingers tonight (myself being one of them !)

Definetly, it should be for members only tonight otherwise the site will crash for hours.

I reckon is should be alphabetically. A-M from 8pm till 1am then N-Z from 1am-8am ;)

Remember that to the wider public, potential deals for Formica and Rochina would be seen as "interesting". Less of an impact for us as we've been following the stories for weeks.

Even if we make some 'interesting signings', wouldn't it be better to finish business a little earlier than on deadline day? Our moves will be overshadowed by the likes of Torres etc. anyway. I mean, from a marketing perspective.

And no, I don't hold a degree :D

I don't see him playing right back, he's not quick enough or ruthless enough, when did he last play there ? I've never seen him play there for Big Club.

Larsson started his career as a right back for Arsenal. That's a pretty big club. It's only later on that he began to adapt his game and move into midfield.

forget twitchy fingers Taggart, im not closing this BRFCS website until after 11pm(your time, 1am my time) ;) The last time i closed it, i couldnt get back on. I must just remember, that i still have work to do, and the boss might not be happy. :lol:

Very interesting news from Jerome Anderson, will be good getting in a few players, after years of frustration :P

Are we assuming the exciting things for Rovers from J Andersons comments are the annoucement of signing Formica and Rochina?

Not that I am complaining, represents a good window for us in my opinion.

I don't see why Barca would want to link up with Rovers. They can offer us great players and we can offer them.......err.............?

I can see it now Iniesta, Xavi and Andrews??? :lol:

In all seriousness, I think if this guy was pushing for first team football then Barca would have tied him down to a longer contract if they wanted to have an option to purchase him at a later date. There's probably a reason why his contract is running out, they more than likely don't think he's good enough.

We could offer them plenty. For example, a 6 month loan of the likes of Jeffren would give hime game time, build him up to level for Barca and probably be of benefit to Rovers. Loaning Barca's academy/fringe players would benefit Rovers by adding quality and would benefit Barca by giving players competitive, top level league game time, something they'd probably struggle to achieve at a young age in Barca.

In terms of his contract, I too have been suspecting this. However, looking at Barca's striker options, they have youth on their side with the likes of Pedro, Jeffren, Bojan, Messi etc. Villa is the only elderly striker really (and Ibra who will be leaving permanently at some point no doubt).
