Nicko, the big transfer story today is Torres to Chelsea.

I've got a text late last night to say he has decided to stay at Anfield. Do you know what is going on with that transfer and if it will go through or not.

Adam, if he doesn't go in this transfer window, will we be in for him again in the summer, providing his fee is at a reasonable level?

Either a swap for Figueroa or a free. They can't loan him - they have two in already.

We're not interested in Warnock, are we? I guess playing Olsson at left back the last few games explain why he would be surplus at Blackburn.

The sooner we get the official Formica announcement, the better. Rochina would be a bonus - from the youtube videos I would think that he could make some sort of difference for us, as a sub at some point.. 4 mediocre strikers ahead of him though, let's hope Kean can bring a good pair together very soon.

Torres wants out. But that's still to be done. Could be a late one. Say it's 60-40 he goes.

Adam and Liverpool very warm again. If he stays there will be a whole lot of bad feeling. His fee will never be at a reasonable level again. Unless he goes free in 18 months.

This i cant quite understand, as we are bringing in Rochina, but no mention of any of our strikers leaving? I get the feeling, that due to this, Rochina will only be available in the summer. Its stupid if he leaves Barca B, to play in our reserve team. He would have thought, he would at least make our 1st team bench, hence why he is eager to leave.

But if he goes and Blackpool go down they'll lose a lot more. If he stays it wouldn't be in his interest to not play or even play badly, football is fickle and he is only wanted so much at the moment because of his current form. Rangers fan I know says it won't last.

Are any players signing by 11.00pm tonight OK to play for their new clubs tomorrow? I know Rovers play Wednesday but quite a few games are tomorrow evening.

Just wondering if that is why the deadline is 11 and not midnight as it normally is in case the final paperwork is not completed until a few mins after 11.00pm.

I believe so yes. Heard an interview on Saturday with Danny Wilson (Swindon manager) and he said any player they signed before 11 tonight would be able to play in tomorrows game. Should be the same for us.

I would be amazed about that. He is a low fee in the summer, a lower fee now...why do a buy-back? Very odd.

I'd imagine this clause is highly unlikely. If it does exist, it's bad business from Rovers. Barca have no hold over Rochina in 5/6 months time, so it'd be stupid for us to compromise with them. They'd already be getting a fee for him when we could get him for free in a few months.
