1359: Celtic boss Neil Lennon has admitted his interest in Abdoulaye Faye but denied the Stoke defender was preparing to sign. Celtic are short at the back following a series of injuries, but Lennon said: "I don't think [Faye] is in Glasgow. He is a name that we have been linked with along with a lot of other names. He is one that does interest us but I have nothing to say on it. We are looking to add to the strikers roster as well but it is difficult and it is very late in the month."

He's been "due to sign" for three days now. I remember when Bentley was "due to sign" a new contract before buggering off to Spurs a few months later.

How do you know he hasn't signed? They're waiting for the right time to announce it, which is normal when signing new players and when exisiting players sign extensions.

Breaking news;

I've just seen Marlon King beating up the ticket office girl, so that could be on.

Don't you just love deadline day, and aside from rovers at the moment it looks like its going to be quite an exciting one.

Hope Rovers wade in with a suprise or 2.

If he has, why not announce it? it will put everybody at ease, about the situation of is he going or not. There is no reason to hold back the announcement, if he has signed a new contract

Nicko, Is Goulon going PNE on loan?

Could Jason Brown follow him there?

Preston want Goulon. There is some club in Spain keen too. He could go to Deepdale after window shuts on an emergency loan.

Brown move would depend on Lonergan being sold...and that is unlikely as we speak.
