He reminds me very much of a young Alan Shearer in his attitude,

I don't remember Shearer getting done for assaulting a few women, breaking a team-mates jaw, glassing a man, breaking his shin jumping into a swimming pool on holiday that had no water in etc etc. Risky to pay 35m for a nut case. Bent at 18m rising to 24m is a steal when Carroll is going for 35m.

By interesting JA may have meant we are getting a couple of players in (Rochina, Formica).

But who's that "interesting" to, Rovers fans have been hearing about them signing for weeks now and no else gives a toss because no one outside the Footy manager world has heard of them.

Speaking of which, does Nolan come in the deal? Haven't the courts mandated that he has to live with Nolan? That'd be a first - a transfer deal scuppered because the courts won't allow a player to move without his state appointed nanny.

If they happen its a mad day indeed. Sky might actually have a transfer deadline day that doesn't end up a damp squib!

Just praying we complete Sturridge deal and still have half a hope of SWP though I think that looks unlikely now!

Sounds like a few clubs are all waiting to confirm things, wonder when the merry-go-round will kick off?

I'm actually more concerned about getting rid of some of our huge deadwood collection. Grella, Andrews, Diouf, Brown, Roberts... Seriously, just pay their wages and you can have 'em all for free!
