Roberts will be a good impact striker for us in the future you'd hope. He can certainly bully defenders, especially when they're tiring.

We're Blackburn Rovers, not Man City. We can't have big names on the bench or in the reserves for a number of reasons.

How about having players on the bench that can actually trap a football?

That's inside the Rovers TV offices. I don't get the Call of Duty reference though.

And why on earth spend all your dosh (£35m???!) on Andy Carrol? He isn't bettert than a fit Roque....sorry but this is massively bizarre.

But, Kenny is a great spotter of talent and much as I agree with you in some respects, wasnt that what they said of Shearer when he came to Rovers?

It was just the camera looking a bit like a gun with a scope on it and appearing on the picture in a similar position to games such as COD, anyway... :blush:

Great so we have tired Jason Roberts until he is 35, Salgado until he is 37 and Nelsen until he is 37, not to seem ungrateful but I am REALLY looking forward to an actual signing of someone young talented rather then securing player on their last legs.

Two serious updates.

LARSSON...Man City offering silly money as a loan fee...but still likely to be kept by Birmingham...loan fee is MORE than full-time bid offer by Rovers...so that cocks things up for an immediate move to Rovers.

DIOUF...think he will be off...growing interest...won't be Blackpool...could not pay his National Insurance.

On a further note...Adam to Man U is total tripe.

Is Kenny making the signings though? Only got a contract till end of the season so it may be Comolli(sp)?
