Miker Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 A real sad loss, tremendous guitar player with a huge history. I'll undoubtedly regret never having the chance to see him live. Was listening to Black Rose just before in remembrance... R.I.P
Sandiway Blue Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 A real sad loss, tremendous guitar player with a huge history. I'll undoubtedly regret never having the chance to see him live. Was listening to Black Rose just before in remembrance... R.I.P The first true rock album i ever listened to (thanks to my dad) and an absolute must listen to for anybody who hasn`t had the pleasure. R.I.P to one of the greats.
Radagast Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 A real shame, a really fantastic talent. I'm not much for the blues, but I had the pleasure of seeing him and his band last summer performing a set taken mostly from the hard rock albums he did in the 80s, and it was nothing short of a pleasure watching him noodling away. And Black Rose is of course one of rock's great tracks.
cletus Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 RIP Gary Moore One of the finest of his generation. Inspired a lot of people to pick a guitar up (including myself)
