Looking at Papiss Cisse's goal record makes for good reading. Signing Jermanie Jones and Junior up, bringing this guy in, selling deadwood i.e. Andrews, Grella would be a good start to this summers business providing we are still in the Premier League.

So we have made an offer for Cisse and Freiberg have confirmed it. All we have to do now is bridge the gap between our 6M offer and their 13M valuation, see off Liverpool and Arsenal and others, oh--and stay in the Premier league and he's our's!

At least its showing some sense. No "marquee" names being bandied about with decent money on the table for a better than decent striker. Perhaps Venkys is finally awakening to the realities of professional soccer?

With these bids going on for various players, are we to assume the managerial issue is resolved one way or another? Or is this Agent Anderson and the Rao brothers' doing?

Billy, the only thing we can assume is that the season is ending and it is time for real transfers and all kind of rumours to come out...

As always, I only believe when the deal is done.

I dont want to be the spelling cop as I am prone to the odd blooper but there should be a gap between teenage and girl. Also really has an A in it.

You're another genius who cant seem to master the basics which makes it really difficult to tell if you are a man or a small child.

I find it hard to believe we'd put an offer in on a player, when we have no idea which league we're going to be playing in next season.

But then, I suppose it is Venkys afterall.

By the time negotiations had been concluded we'd probably know our fate anyway. If it turned out we were getting relegated then we could just pull the plug on the deal.

If it is true that we're already looking at good strikers then it's one of the few things Venky's have done right so far. We usually wait far too long to start making moves in transfer windows, the faster we can move the better.

I'm pretty sure the finalization of any deal would be dependant on our PL status.
