Hughesy Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Would love Modric. I wouldnt mind Van Der Vaart but that isnt going to happen either!! I think we could be losing a few first team players this summer, If Arsenal or Spurs come in for Robinson and we have a big offer for Samba I think both will leave. Robbo has already made his future clear - aslong as we are in the prem, he will be here.
andyroversmad Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Kranjcar, Ba and Jermaine Jones Give Hoillet new contract if not N'zogbia Just need about £25 million
A cup of beans Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 buy lewis mcguigan NOW! cheap.. ish. worth a gamble. not seen him have a bad game yet (on tv). Thomas Hitzelberger(sp) would be good bit of a sicknote.. reminds me of pedersen.. when he performed better!
Ripleys love child Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Drogba, Owen and the van man, all proven and will be available .
davulsukur Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 apparently when Spurs offered Palacios a contract extention he said "You cold blooded b*****d! I'll tell you what I think of it! I live to see you eat that contract, but I hope you leave enough room for my fist because I'm going to ram it into your stomach and break your god-damn spine!" But my mate could have been lying must be true, he should be signed for the Arnie quotation alone
Billy Castell Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Drogba, Owen and the van man, all proven and will be available . Owen???!! The same Owen who has played 260 minutes this season, who has scored 1 goal this season? Ask any Newcastle fan whether Owen is worth the steam off your wee. Or any Man Utd fan. He's living offhis time at Liverpool, and has been for years. Anyway, we'll be solving all our issues by signing a couple of Scottish guys called Johnny Walker and Glenn Livet and an American with Italian heritage called Gallo.
Hughesy Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Demba Ba was the centre of the West Ham kick off with fans it seems, according to someone on here - via Twitter! Refused to sign an autograph! Trying to get a move away by any chance??
Brfcrule1 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 You took the words right out of my mouth Hughesy yes from what I heard he refused to sign an autograph for a fan because check this "He was too tired" . I did think signing Ba providing he passed a medical but after last night would now pass. He seems to have the attitude of I am bigger than the club not what we need for the new season,& picture this at the disabled supporters player of the season someone asks Ba for an autograph he says he is too tired Samba & others would lynch him trouble then ensues although he scores goals after last night is a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. I would also pass on Hitzelsperger too injury prone, one player I would like here is Mark Noble ideal center midfield but again would really depend on him passing a medical. I would also pass on Carlton Cole after missing that open goal from 3 yards is probably J.Roberts in disguise! . I would maybe go for Charlie Adam but suspect bigger clubs will be after him & too expensive would pass on would pass on Campbell. I would however take from Wigan N'Zogbia, McCarthy, Rodalegga, Moses,Watson but suspect Rodalegga would prob go to a bigger club but anyone of the others would be good & from Big club I would go for Roger Johnson/Ridgewell if Samba leaves I also wouldn't mind signing Gardner goalscoring midfielders are worth there waiting goal & he is ten times better than what we have & would certainly be better fitness wise than Dunn & one worth looking into would be Cameron Jerome is big, lightning quick & is definitely better than Roberts when it comes to finishing but I do think this is pointless untill we know for definite has gone then we can properly assess so for me at this point in time Noble from WHU would be a good buy.

47er Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 signing Jones and Hoilett to long term contracts should be the first priority I thought we already had with Jones?
pick32 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 One player that I think would fit in with our team at left back extremely well is Reto Ziegler and his club Sampdoria got relegated at the weekend.
dazmaz Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Jermaine He is going on 30. A long term contract isnt quite visable. 2-3 year contract maybe
chris Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 must be true, he should be signed for the Arnie quotation alone good spot
gumboots Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Robbo has already made his future clear - aslong as we are in the prem, he will be here. Even if he wasn't I don't think Spurs would be the club to tempt him back. Arsenal possibly.
MeanGreenMachine Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 buy lewis mcguigan NOW! cheap.. ish. worth a gamble. not seen him have a bad game yet (on tv). I can tell you now he will go for anything but cheap.
Fylde Coast Fan Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Even if he wasn't I don't think Spurs would be the club to tempt him back. Arsenal possibly. There's a story that's been doing the rounds about Robbo and Arsenal for years - if it's remotely true there's no chance of him going there while Wenger is in charge. I can't remember the exact thing but the gist of it was that when he was leaving Leeds he went to Arsenal for a training session tryout on the quiet. They all took shots at him and he didn't even try, just kept saying "I could have got that if I'd dived". Seems utterly bizarre to me, but hey.

Villa if they can't agree a deal with Friedel who is wanted by WBA if reports are true? Or do we think it would have to be a side in or near Europe (and I don't mean geographically)
Mowie Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 England Scott Parker 7 million Demba Ba 6 million Charles N'Zogbia 8 million Jermaine Defoe 7 million Total 28 million From abroad J Jones 4 million Falcao 15 million Mirko Vucinic 15 million Total 34 million Combined 62 million. pick32 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 I don't think we really need Ba, Defoe, Falcao and Vucinic. I also think the last to are a little bit out of our league especially Flacao.

The one thing we do need is strikers, high quality ones at that. Andre Pirlo is also available on a bosman, now there's your marquee signing Venkys! No i'm not drunk, just a dreamer!
