One of the articles I read stating Arsenal and Spurs interest in Samba described him as a" bargain" at 10M. If that's what neutrals think why shouldn't we? Why should we present Spurs or Arsenal with a bargain buy?

For Samba - we really need to be pushing as close to £15m as we can get.

All depends on the market - if Leighton Baines is being touted around for £20m+ - why is Samba only being mentioned for around £10m ? From Arsenal's perspective - he is exactly the type of player they need to bolster their defence - I would say Samba could be worth a lot more than £10m to them

Denilson would be quality, Spurs are well worth a look tho, even without a deal for samba. It was well documented that Harry liked Adam and Parker, if he pushes through for deals for them this summer they will defo be offloading some midfielders.

Kranjcar would be at the top of that list for me.

Odemwingie is quite a feasible shout, he's not on a great deal at WBA-

(relatively, I think around £20k p/w) and he could be a real signing.

Defoe is a long shot (no pun intended), would be surprised if we could tempt him, Krancjar would be another good signing, but I'd be surprised if we could pull it off!

I have a feeling we'll go back for Damien Duff a move which would mind as long as the fee is sensible , Denilson is a good shout and i've been championing a move for Clyne for some time now , but without doubt the front line as to be where we need the most attention i think maybe 3 new strikers are needed

Samba is clumsy at times. Were as Leighton Baines is a 20million pound player. If you look at stats that count for a full back this season such as tackle success, assists and goals etc he wipes the floor with Bale, and on stats is the second best full back in the world only being beaten by Alves. The only reason people don't rate him highly outside of Everton is because he isn't a media darling.

Don't get me wrong, Baines is a good left back. Very fundamentally sound and rarely makes mistakes. He's not a £20m player though. He's not a game changer.

True , but if there's no fee involved ? and lets face it whatever he earns at Utd now nobody else will be willing to match and if Fergie feels he doesnt need him he'll have to take the best of whats on offer
