Luca Toni! sorry, I just had to type that. ill get my coat

left back: I know many top clubs might want him, but if money is not a problem, then Taye Taiwo.

if Samba leaves, then why don't we try going for Danns or Roger Johnson, or making a sneaky bid for Gary Cahill.

Taye Taiwo has signed for AC Milan.

I may get slated, but Nicklas Bendtner.

Signing a 23 year old first team player from Arsenal because of his contract running out would be a massive sign of intent if nothing else.

I understand the idea but...honestly, the famed Arsenal "youth" aren't exactly setting the world on fire, yes they play attractive football but they don't appear to be getting any better as individuals and to be brutally honest, they failed miserably in a year that was primed for them to win the league and either or both domestic cups.

oops didn't know that. Santa. Cruz and Robbie Keane or Defoe up front. I think I'm the only one, who wouldn't mind Keane here. lol

And one of the only one's who'd still want Santa Cruz it would seem.

Benjani > release on free contract

Brown> release on free contract

M Diouf> End loan deal

Roque> End loan deal

New contract for Hoilett

Sign Jermaine Jones on a permanent

Try to sell; Andrews, Grella & El Hadji Diouf

Listen to offers for; Dunn, MGP, Kalinic & Roberts

Look to sign 2 of – Demba Ba, Daniel Sturridge, Odemwingie, Defoe, Bellamy

Possibly have to consider selling; Givet & Samba

IF we sell them; replace with a natural left back (Not Warnock) and also sign a central defender

Sign Seb Larsson on a free as back up to Hoilett on right

Sign Niko Kranjcar

I would consider hitzelspurger (spelling) at WHU.

It would surprise me to see Emerton go - so he would need replacing.

I hope Grella, Andrews, el Hadji, Dunn, Roberts go.

I would keep Kalinic for one more season - cannot help feel he needs a decent run in the side as well as better service.

Bring in Sturridge - and Adams and pavlochenco from spurs (spelling)

Say what you like about him, but he's a fantastic talent who is being squeezed out of a big club. His contract is up next summer (unless he signed an extension) and I can't see a side with better finances or that are a more attractive proposal wanting to come in for him, with the possible exception of Spurs, but I can't see that happening personally. So if he's wanting to stay in England and play first team football (which he publicly stated a month or so ago) we could have a very decent chance of what would be a very big signing in my opinion.

Signing a 23 year old first team player from Arsenal because of his contract running out would be a massive sign of intent if nothing else.

I'd be happy to bring Bendtner in, but it would have to be for the right price.

From BBC Gossip Column

Nicklas Bendtner, 23, has told Arsenal he wants to leave this summer, with Bayern Munich among the clubs interested in signing the £9m-rated Danish striker.

£9 Million is probably too much for me, if these are the figures Arsenal are wanting then we should look elsewhere

Heres a thought, If Samba and Phil Jones are sold and Venkys are alreay putting forward 20 mill for transfers - it could mean there is a 40 mill plus transfer kitty.

Somehow I cannot believe this.

I cannot help thinking that the transfer kitty is made up of Samba and Phil Jones being sold. I really hope I am wrong.

then more ???? on our centre back

phil - high chance we would keep him

Samba - he had done a brilliant job, hence if he is looking to go out then no hard feelings.

We still have Nelson, givet and jones, hence we still probably need a additional back up (Hanley not ready)

I would suggest keeping Dunn and MGP ( especially Dunn, he would create a positive fighting spirit within the team )

The only player who had a poorer season than RSC was Robbie Keane.

As for Hargreave... I still haven't stopped laughing

I think a cry is more appropiate. Just imagine it now, grella, hargreaves, rsc, owen, dunn - he also has been mentioned. The biggest sicknote squad in the prem.

indeed.. I did say though, that I would want RSC to stay, but a) at the right price, B) He can prove his fitness and c) He starts to look interested again

I still believe, that with pre season and a brand new start with no pressure to begin with, that he can flourish again. He can score goals, he just needs to get the confidence going, and he will be amongst our top performers next season. The same applies to Robbie Keane and Defoe. I know people will be banging their heads against the wall, but its experienced players with the enthusiasm of the youngsters that will see us progress next season.

Keane has had a bad time of things, but again like Defoe you know that once they hit the ground running with a few goals, then you can expect a lot more.

RSC

Defoe/Keane

Rochina

Roberts

Ba/Bendtner

That is not a bad strikeforce if we could get them. im trying to be realistic, and Defoe, Kean, RSC and Bendtner all want to play regularly and are familiar with the PL, so you never know.

I really don't understand why everyone wants to bring ex-players like Bellamy, Warnock and Bentley back. They were good for us FOUR YEARS AGO. Look how the RSC experiment worked. Times have changed people. We escaped this season but if we go out and sign the likes of these players, we won't be so lucky next season.

With ya. I could handle bringing Bentley back as I reckon he could come back and prove himself again, but as a rule I reckon it's better to avoid the pool you once swum in ( with exceptions - Dunny).

I want the management to really look at renewing and refreshing the way we go about things. Put some money into thr academy so we can continue to produce players like Jones and enable Blackburn to rival other teams in this area.

I reckon we can should look at the teams that went down - options like Ba, but also look at lads on the fringe of the top 6 clubs and those kicking about in the fringe of CL clubs.

Seen Bendtner mentioned a few times, and at £9million as well????

Good lord please no.

think the 9mill is way off the mark.. If he desperately wants out, we can do a 10mill plus Bendtner for Samba. :-) Use the 10mill to bring in a new CB and maybe a new left back

Why does everyone keep mentioning Demba Ba?

On the few occasions I've seen him for West Ham he's looked pretty useless with all the heart and fighting qualities of Pascal Chimbonda to boot.

7 goals in 12 for a shocking team.

I would consider hitzelspurger (spelling) at WHU.

Emerton is useful as a back-up right back and also a useful player to have on the bench....his goals in the last few games have proven his worth for another season.

Would love Sturridge, Pav & Adam but I think the last 2 would be a struggle.

Hitzburger is injury prone & ageing so id leave alone.

Using RSC as an example does not prove your point. He is, and I suspect, always will be chronically injured. Warnock is injury free as far as I know and Bellamy didn't miss too many games for Cardiff.

He was awesome when? He has hardly played in the last 3 years

Wouldnt want us to sign him....but if we went near him - pay as you play deal only

He has been playing longer than 3 years mate, start of his United career and at Bayern he was fantastic...

Don't forget things like Reid, knackered here and doing alright at WBA.

Fevre is a god amongst footballing medical teams and personally I don't see the harm in a trial as if fit he's better than anything we currently have.

I really can't understand why some of you think we have to be the "Mother Teresa" of football...

Hargreaves, Owen, Bentley, Warnock, RSC are not what they were. They are either old, or injury prone or past it. And they earn huge salaries as well, I don't think they'll accept a pay cut to play for us.

Only Bellamy would be worth a look.

First of all sort Hoilett's new contract out. Then sort the Samba situation out early so we have plenty of time to replace him.

I still don't believe we will spend anywhere close to £20m on transfers...or does that figure include wages, signing on fees and taxis to the training ground like the last £5m figure did?
