[Archived] Questions for Kean

Blackburn Rovers have had a number of poor managers over the years, Jim Iley, Paul Ince, Brain Kidd. Where would you consider yourself to be on that list? Right at the top?

How long have you known Jonn Jensen, and where and how did you meet him?

What are the arrangements for transferring players in, do you hand Mrs Desai a list of targets? How much say do you have in transfers?

Given recent performances, does it not feel slightly out of place to be talking of breaking into the top six next year?

Do you feel you have adapted to Premiership management well? Where do you see yourself in 5 years' time?

Do you have the backing of the whole squad? How has training gone?

And finally ... is it possible you could (Please don't use that word again) off and take the three stooges in Pune with you?

Do you work from a script when speaking to the press? How is it humanly possible to speak so well? Also do you get your suits tailored and why is in the knot in your tie always so small?

With Birmingham now very likely to push on in the league, and West Ham with a forward line scoring all the time, how do you rate our chances of staying up?

what dirt does keith hold over you in order to play.

how much slower does salgado have to get before you drop him.

do you think agents are ruining the game.

what dirt do you hold over the new owners.

how long should someone stay in a job after they realise they are'nt cut out for it.

Wow, I've not taken much interest in Rovers over the last month - other stuff going on and I was away for the Newcastle game. I didnt realise things had become so bad. :(

This is not a question for Kean but for the BBC.

In view of all these kinds of questions, in view of the changed atmosphere around Ewood alluded to by Jason Brown in a different posting, will you pull the show?

Under what circumstances &/or with what weight of evidence would you consider that you aren't cut out to be manager of Blackburn Rovers & would therefore resign ?

Cracking question

How many games, in person, did you see Jermaine Jones, Mauro Formica and Ruben Rochina play before you decided to try to sign them for Blackburn Rovers? If you hadnt seen them play in person why did you sign them, and who recommended them to you?

Do you believe that Grant Hanley at this stage of his career to be a better centre-half than Gael Givet?

Do you think at this stage of the season we are closer to being a European or a Relegation team?

When Sam was sacked, we were 3-4 points off 5th position in the league, do you think you can get us back up that high in the table this season?

"our target is to get to 40 first and then push on"

he said it two weeks ago.

Please resign.

Neither a question or something that doesn't display your usual thoughts (from before the day Kean was appointed)

One thing seriously bothering me that need major clarification when it was well publicised in the press before the Villa game that Villa had 2 major defenders out injured and they would have to field a makeshift back 4 what was your thinking behind only playing one striker? Surely you could see that Villa were there for the taking?.

To take a Premier Legue managerial role surely you believed you are capable of producing.

With your current points per game ratio being lower than your predecessors, and after setting up for a draw (and ending up suffering a humiliating defeat) at Aston Villa (a team which your predecessor beat with far less transfer and wage budget), do you still believe that you are capable?

Will you please consider resigning for the sake of the fans? You've proven you can't keep us in the league already, do the honourable thing and save the club some money whilst you're at it.

We all know what'll happen.

They'll probably pick one question that's very nicely worded for him. Something like "fans are becoming restless after a run of poor results, how do you feel about the situation?". He'll say something about luck and working hard to put it right. The rest of the questions will be cushy.
