rebelmswar Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Mr. Kean, what is the milligram level of downers you are on when you have to be on the touchline, and do you think that amount of medication is safe? Do you plan on issuing flotation devices for the shorter players that are on the subs bench or anywhere near you during matches? I only ask this Mr. Kean as the level of urine you are taking and the sheer volume of slack jawed drooling you are secreting is getting rather voluminous.

chaddyrovers Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 are we all ready for the excuses coming from Steve Kean tonight??? I'm will be listening with Interest!
Stockport rover Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Which of our remaining games can you see us picking up points in? Who are your targets for the summer transfer window/ failing that what positions do you think we need to strengthen? Why do you not want to throw Formica in and get him some game time? Surely he can't be that unfit?
SergioPeter89 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 They are not taking calls tonight. What a surprise..

SergioPeter89 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Steve Kean is saying that he wants to wait before he throws Formica and Rochina in to a game, until we are leading with two or three goals. In other words, we wont see them this season.

True Blue & White Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Basically blaming everything on everything but himself so far.
barry_ Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 he is being allowed to waffle his way through the interview without actually answering anything
SergioPeter89 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Haha, best one so far: Said that we lost 4-1 against Villa because we were too offensive after Villas first goal. We were apparently chasing the equaliser to quickly. WTF? We just waited until Villa scored a second before we started chasing the ball.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 They are not taking calls tonight. What a surprise.. PPPFFFTTTTTTT!
True Blue & White Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 He sound slike he manages from a text book and knows no other way. When asked why we concede so many he basically said "we do all the exercises" confused as to why they aren't working.
chaddyrovers Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 What do you think so far off Kean interview???
barry_ Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 you can imagine him talking like this to the indians and them not having any idea what he's going on about but thinking he sounds like he knows what he is talking about.
cn174 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 The thing I notice most is that he does really know his stuff in terms of the coaching, the player's technical ability, formations etc. But there's more to being manager than that, and that doesn't seem to come across.
John Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Have noticed, Kean does always talk very detailed and with a great deal of knowledge (including stats).
Bobby G Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 BS. He doesnt know anything about setting up a team, or tactics/strategy at the highest level. Also, not everyone is a couch football fan. Some of us have worked with coaches, players, teams, scouts, agents, federations, at some level to be tactically aware on a basic level at least. We arent blind. We chased the equalizer too fast and were attacking? Please. He may be a theoretical coach but he hasnt been able to translate his "knowledge" yet. Rubbish answers. When's his presser though?
SergioPeter89 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Good to hear that Phil Jones will be used as a centre back when he is back
JAL Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 What do you think so far off Kean interview??? Infuriating. Feeling very angry listening to him, the more I hear, the more of a rage I turn into why is this guy running our club hes so far out of his depth..... all talk no action. Get him out asap or at least back to coaching!
John Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Maybe he thinks too much hence does not put it into action??
chaddyrovers Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 kean problem is his man management skills. That's what he's lacks. But that's the most important things in the PL as long with tactics not coaching I agree with playing with 2 strikers and Phil Jones being a future Rovers Captain.
RibbleValleyRover Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Interesting comments about Phil Jones. Kean said that when he is fully fit he will be going back into central defense. Phil wanted to know where he would be playing when he committed to a new contract. I and many others will welcome that news.
vintageadidas Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I picked up on a few weeks ago how many times he says "i think" and for that reason i really cannot listen to him anymore.
