I don't think everybody who boos Andrews hates him. Some people certainly do. My point has been and still is that booing Andrews does nobody any good. Argue THAT point

It has been argued. If booing him, or anyone else who's obviously not good enough, pushes the manager to rethink, it's done some good - no/yes?

Booing Ince eventually pushed the management into getting rid, that did some good.

Ha ha... being a baby! Brilliant. How to argue a point...

People aren't 'haters'. I said some people say they hate Andrews and behave like it, I think that says they probably do. You seem to think booing Andrews is ok and isn't going to do anything detrimental to the team. Back that up with some kind of argument rather than picking on bits of what people say and picking holes in it. That is being a debate desperado and that's the irony too!

Argue THAT point other wise you are just trolling. I didn't call 'people' trolls but you are being one whether you like it or not with your 'being a baby' comments. I'm quite happy to have a good debate about something like this but what you've been doing is nothing like that. Finally, debate about booing is one thing you putting words in my mouth is quite another and I take exception to that as I imagine you would.

when did i say it was okay..?

now talk about putting words in other peoples mouths eh...

as i said, you are a debate-desperado.

Different situation. Booing Andrews on the pitch affects the whole team and we are in a relegation fight. We can't afford to have any players, however poor normally, playing worse because their confidence is totally shot because of the fans. We're just shooting ourselves in the foot.

I don't think they would've kept Ince on if he wasn't being booed though? He was obviously gash. Mind you, they bloody well hired him in the first place and given what happened afterwards, they should've been able to spot he was a no-hoper even at that stage!

I'd much rather we had someone else playing for us, but I've moved onto the acceptance stage now.

Didn't they keep him after the Liverpool* game, saying they were surprised at the lack of the expected reaction from the fans?

* I think it was Liverpool?

Was that the one we lost 3-1?

I guess you might want to stick with a rookie manager thinking he might come good. But sticking with a 30 year old journeyman of the lower leagues ... I can't see the future pay-off from that.

Right, ive removed the off topic sniping between the two of you. Any more of it and i'll start issuing warnings. Keep the discussion on topic. If you want to argue, take it to PM, but keep it clean.

By the same token you should have posted that to them on pm too. Did you just want to display your authority cos it's nothing to do with the rest of us and nothing to do with the topic either.

Said it on here many times and I'll say it again. In my opinion, a paying season ticket holder, Keith Andrews isn't good enough to be playing in our first team. However I never have and never will boo him, I've nothing against him personally and hate it when the booing starts, again at Fulham it was embarrassing to see the lad sprinting down to the Rovers fans to considerable booing, thankfully that was drowned out moments later by people clapping thankfully.

I challenge everyone who boos Andrews to instead give him a cheer every time he completes a pass or makes a tackle. That should shut the boo-ers up...

I would challenge the manager not to pick him. Kean knows what the situation is regarding Andrew's and the stick he gets from the fans. Playing Andrews in a game where we need all the backing we can get - and where we need the best players on the park, would be lunacy.

Sound and obvious Den. Playing him would mean we'd start with 10 men and he'd shrink further and further into his shell as the inevitability of his reception sank in.

Its a tragic situation not of his making. I do hope Kean has more sense and judgement but I fear the worst.

What team Kean will come up with next is anyone's guess ... the amount of chopping and changing that has gone on has to be a factor in our current run.

It would be suicidal of Kean to play him.

The crowd could easily be the decider on Saturday. If people see Andrews' name on the team sheet the mood will be poor before the whistle has even been blown.

If you had changed that to forward pass you would have a very quiet match.

You may cheer twice.

No point booing Andrews, serves no purpose whatsoever, but what gets me is Trapattoni, Allardyce, Ince and Kean all see him as an integral part of the team? Allardyce even refused to sell him at one stage!

Are the so called football experts wrong or us?

I would never boo a Rovers player, no matter how evident it was that they lacked the quality needed to play well in our side. I'm just wondering, why is it people boo Andrews but not Roberts?

Surely they're of a simillar level no ?

I'm glad that someone saw what I was doing. Rubbish joke admittedly, if you can even call it that!
