broadsword Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 I've never heard anyone called a 'clown shoe' before, good work. Seconded!

BangkokRover Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Why do I get the impression that they truly don't care if we go down? I don't believe for one second they don't care.
BPF Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Why do I get the impression that they truly don't care if we go down? Because we are already considered a wrote off investment?
broadsword Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Because we are already considered a wrote off investment? Perhaps we could sy that someone has dropped a balaji, sorry, I mean boll ... whoops.
Gamst Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Fear not all, Kean is confident that with some 'good work on the training ground', we can get some points in the next two home games and he assures us that we are excellent at home. Also, he felt that we really dominated that chance-filled first half and that we were really unlucky not to be ahead. He was also shocked when we didn't get that goal back after going behind. After all, we were creating so much. The poor guy even said himself that we were chasing the game a little after the second went in! Never have I witnessed a manager be so detached from reality! Your clueless cliches are no longer fooling anyone Steve (well, apart from the Rao family)!
BangkokRover Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Because we are already considered a wrote off investment? If that is the case it would be an international PR disaster for them. Something that will be dragged up again and again.
Andy Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 I actually just wondered to myself if I'd even prefer Paul Ince returning to having Kean carry on. ...and I think I would
mark Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 There is a very good reason for that.. BPF, please will you either spill or give up inferring how much you know, ta.
Grez Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Not that we can say it on an open forum but I think Kamy, Philip and others on this board are with me on knowing exactly why Kean is still in a job. There's a lead in to a new conspiracy thread...
BPF Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 If that is the case it would be an international PR disaster for them. Something that will be dragged up again and again. They are already considered a joke now, walking away could be the best thing they've done.

BangkokRover Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 They are already considered a joke now, walking away could be the best thing they've done. That makes zero sense. These are business people if they walked away their name would be mud.
thenonda Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Email rovers@venkys.in and let them know what you think of W4nk3r Kean I have
broadsword Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Email rovers@venkys.in and let them know what you think of W4nk3r Kean I have Probably all goes in the spam filter. Sadly, can't see it making ANY difference at all. I doubt they've ever considered that the customer is always right.
Waggy76 Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 That makes zero sense. These are business people if they walked away their name would be mud. Very true but if they have written off their investment , it would answer a few things ...Would like to know at what stage in the past few weeks did they write BRFC off ??? After Villa or Fulham ?
broadsword Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 That makes zero sense. These are business people if they walked away their name would be mud. Well, owning Rovers hasn't exactly done much for their reputation so far, has it?

BangkokRover Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Well, owning Rovers hasn't exactly done much for their reputation so far, has it? I agree I don't think it has either but it will have gotten their name mentioned in the press. Which is good PR first Indians to own a EPL etc. No where the same level as PR if they walked away. I am not saying they will not walk away I am just saying it's not very logical.
Kamy100 Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 The ONLY way to have any effect on Venky's is for them to start getting bad press within India, however getting Indian journalists to cover the going on's at Ewood since the takeover is a very hard task. However if they did start getting bad press in India, with papers saying that they are negatively affecting the image of all Indian business people would most certainly have an affect on them and focus their minds on making decisions, other than that can't see Kean being sacked.

Would Emailing major Indian papers with our feelings about what they have done to the club make news?????

Presumably the reason they don't want to sack Kean is that it will hurt their pride to what would be an admission of falliability?
chris Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Would Emailing major Indian papers with our feelings about what they have done to the club make news????? Yeah because Indians really give a pants about football
Mattie456 Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Enough now! ,how many new lows can a season bring??
Grez Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Just had a laugh at kean on ssn: "we went into today on the back of a 3 game unbeaten run". Talk about looking for a silver lining!
