DISASTER

No idea, shocking post match interview AGAIN, using the home form statistics that were created under Sam AGAIN.

Won't be renewing if he is our manager come August 2011.

Don't worry neither will most people.

Of course the games against the other North West clubs will be popular the rest will be less well supported. Trips to Coventry, Derby and Middlesbrough do quite have the same ring as any EPL game.

You have to be careful. Getting rid of a manager can sometimes be out of the frying pan into the fire. Saying that though, I thought that there was a distinct lack of quality in tactics against Everton. Everton played poorly but still played a better team game than Rovers. It was fairly even in the first half obviously, but by the second half, the lack of ideas began to take a toll.

This is not only due to how the players performed, but also (and in the main) due to poor management choices in tactics. However, did the manager have much choice? Did he do all he could?

If he did everything he could and nobody could realistically do any better with the players available then it was not his fault so much. However if you believe that others could do better in the circumstances, then perhaps he should leave. Just be careful what you wish for though, you could easily get a bad manager who is a lot worse.

Difficult to be worse than the present incumbent. He's taken 17 points (I think) out of a possible 48 since he took over. Results are not improving and he shows no signs of learning or improving - a proper management would have dumped him by now.

Many so-called "supporters" got their wish when Sam was sacked - they're all looking very foolish now.

Normally with 5 games left its a risk. But I cant see us picking up a win under this charlatan.

Id even take someone like Curbishley. Thats how desperate I am.

Worryingly, the players looked lost and disinterested yesterday and had no spirit in them. Even someone like Roberts, when he came on. Didnt have the usual hustle and bustle.

This is the problem. The reason Kean is still with us is financial. Venkys being convinced that everyone hates them is not going to persuade them to open up the purse.

Whoever said that the future of the club is at stake, you have no idea how right you are. We all need to work together on this one to try and get the message through to Mrs Desai. Is this 12pm protest tomorrow really happening? If so, I'll be there.

If the first quote above is true then whats the point of the second?

Go on, imagine how funny this would be if it was another club. I said in Jan how desperately pathetic Blackpool were in Jan and how there freefall would delight me, now we are in the same place but its so much more sinister. Relegation is nailed on

14 points from possible 51 in 17 premier league games any change is for the better

Dont think it really makes any difference. I reversed the quotes(which were posted within 2 minutes of each other) just to make it easier to compare.

Of course it makes a difference. The first is borne of frustration at the situation, giving way to the crushing reality. Which is fairly understandable.

The way you posted them made him out to be WUMing for the sake of it.

We were 21 points from 17 games when Sam "left' and we are 35 from 33 now. So that's 14 from 16 games for Kean.

I thought you'd go for a not sure option if there was one to be honest, what do you think of him again?

I don't need to ask you, or your views on the Venkys--unless you've abandoned them at last. And, by the way, I've hardly posted this last week (unlike your repetitive self).

Well I’ve been firmly the ‘don’t sack Kean camp’ for most of his tenure, but I have to say now that guy offers nothing, is like a smiling rabbit in the headlights on interviews, and should be sacked as soon as possible.

As most people will know, continuity is the key to success, sacking the the manager at this stage of the season is suicide, but it’s the only way we have any chance of picking up anymore points. He’s had his chance, has blown it big time, we’re on our worse run in 25yrs, says it all.

Can’t back you any longer Kean, and with the fans calling for your head during games, the games up pal.

“Venkys, you got us in this mess, now get us out”

47er- Why are you talking about Venkys, the poll was about Steve Kean? As you've noticed that I have been so repetitive (ironically not in Kean or Venkys threads) my views should be clear for you.

The one thing that struck me yesterday was the completed lack of defensive organisation and the one thing Kean is supposed to be is a top coach.

Those players out there yesterday didn't look like they had worked on defending as a unit on the training ground and we were lucky to concede so few considering the terrible defending at times.

I want my club back, or at least a proper manager, it's that bad I have been thinking I would have preferred the likes of Curbishley, Pardew evening Glenn fecking Hoddle!

When making subs, Kean attempted to shake hands with each player as they came off - noticed no one looked him in the eyes when doing so, if anything they were looking away from him - as usual, our coach was trying to keep things nice and positive however needs to look at the reality of the situation.

As for Jensen, he sits there like a plum looking bemused, too afraid to do anything - wonder how his new contract is coming along.

Don't Venky's or Kean care that they are ruining a very good football club who many people care about? How can they of allowed this to happen.

This is so shameful.
