I just saw this on Wikipedia but it seems to have disappeared as quickly as it went on:

Sadly for Kean, he was born with a rare genetic condition called Ray Hartford & Brian Kidd Syndrome. This rare genetic condition determines that the sufferer will be considered a good coach but will relegate teams if ever given the full manager position. When accepting the Blackburn job, he also developed Brownnose disease. This condition makes people undertake any act in order to please other people, particularly if they are directly responsible for your employment.

It is rumoured that Kean is now also being treated for Ostrich Syndrome. The inflicted are said to keep their heads firmly buried in the sand and refusing to acknowledge large issues / stresses in their life. This could explain why he has not resigned from his position as Blackburn Rovers manager.

I said it a month ago, if Steve Kean is still in charge at the end of the season we will be relegated, nothing I have seen since that time has caused me to change my opinion.

I'd rather have a dustbin in charge than that clown at this stage.

Interesting thought - who would have had Holloway to replace Kean a few months ago ? I know I would have - and Holloway is now residing over a Blackpool team now in free fall - very similar to Rovers.

Experienced Steve Bruce is unable to stop the slide at Sunderland (though I admit I have never personally rated him as a manager).

Though I don't think Kean was the right replacement for Sam - as he was too inexperienced - even he admits that he has been surprised at aspects of the job - by a similar token I am not going to berate a man who was given an opportunity and took it (there is no proof that I have seen that he helped oust Sam). His approach to management is to obviously keep a positive mental attitude - and to be honest there is some benefit in this - as it can help keep the pressure off players. However - this has to be covered with a little realism - or he just ends up sounding a fool and loses respect of the players - a difficult balancing act in any walk of life.

Two home matches to come - extremely unlikely that Kean will be displaced or resign in the meantime - so now is the time to really get behind the team. We need at least two points from these matches - best chance is that Bolton have their minds on other things when we play them - as a win in that match - and a return of three points is possibly the best we can hope for.

Get a point at the Emirates and this Nicko chap was all over the board, telling us how we're all so wrong about Kean and that he's a 'gem' - and all that guff.

Now, after yet another defeat, terrible performance and a further showing of Kean's complete uselessness, he's strangely absent.

Funny that.

Nobody is going to berate anyone for taking a PL managers job with a two year deal on the biggest money of his life.

However, it is painfully obvious that he is not up to it and it is the foolhardyness and frankly astonishing naivety of the owners that are to blame.

With him in charge we have no chance beating Man City. dream on! if Kean can't get us to beat teams that we would have won under SA like BC and Bpool.

Kean is useless and clueless. still can't believe that the owners are risking us going down all because they don't want to pay Kean comp.

the owners are to totally to blame here. They bought a club but had no idea what they was in for when they did. they thought that it will run itself and wouldn't cost much money. Would also improve the venky's brand and made them know around the world. They don't care about the fans, the club. They sacked SA because for no reason and appoint a totally novice as a manager who is just a yes man and will do what he is told to do. abit like when he said that Ronaldinho was his target. what a load of rubbish you muppet! do you think that the fans will believe you!

I'm going to make a Big banner for the city game, not berating him not having a go, just something along the lines of:

'Steve kean if you want any respect from these fans, if you want to do good for this once proud football club, Then PLEASE resign.'

Better off with KEAN OUT - T - shirts. Banners would get stopped. T - shirts under a rovers top then all take the rovers top off. This would be seen on all the tv cameras etc.

If we had Steve Kean's win ratio from the start of the season we'd be on 28 pts and rock bottom of the league. We've lost one of the best chairman in the Premier League and haven't won a league game since January.

I was for recruiting Holloway. Still am. He's a good motivator and understands the game. He's worked miracles at Blackpool. Even if they are relegated (and despite my fondness for Blackpool I hope they are now, as we need to have three+ clubs stumble to ensure our own survival), Holloway will have earned every penny he was paid.

As for Kean and Jensen, they need to be relieved ASAP. I don't care whom they bring in for the final five matches. But without a substantial change, we'll be lucky to obtain 17th.

Kean needs to go. Now. It's not too late.

Before yesterday, Hodgson was unbeaten at West Brom since taking over in February. A good manager can produce instant change.

We need to try something to save ourselves. Kean out and someone experienced in please.

We are a written off investment.

Unless we manage to survive under the current management regime. No more pennies will be spent.

Will they asset strip and/or attempt to sell? Whatever way it's not looking good. And if we stay up? :(

Not really. He'll be at Wembley watching his mate's lot get stuffed by Stoke.
